The relationship of Transformational Leadership

A relationship is said to be transformational when it consists of leaders and followers who are committed to each other.

Organizations place premium emphasis on the trainings they give managers with the goal of promoting transformational relationship. This is to say that transformational relationship happens when leaders of teams can find a way to partner with other work members to ensure policy adjustments which would bring about the vision and mission of the organization (Odumeru & Ogbonna, 2013). This method of leadership is practised to ensure that morale, motication and performance of the workers ate fostered. The point of discussion herein is the is the idealized influence and inspitational relationship of transformational leadership.

Idealised Influence

The transformational leadership involves influencing followers and the subordinates in an organization. In every leadership, leaders often act as role models by displaying the charismatic personality that enables the devotees to respect and follow their actions (Avolio & Yammarino, 2013). The idealized influence of a leader can be observed through offering to take risks and following the essential set of values, ethical principles, and convictions in an individual. One of the values that come with the principle of idealized influence is the honesty and trust developed by the followers, which in turn allow people to develop confidence in the leadership. For instance, the form of leadership developed by Steve Jobs influenced a diverse number of workers as well as the customers across the world thereby enabling them to gain confidence in the Apple production.

Inspirational Motivation

In the transformational leadership, inspirational motivation involves the leader's ability to spur motivation, confidence as well as the sense of purpose among the followers. Every leader in any organization needs to define a clear vision for the future, establish communication expectations for the workers of the followers and express a strong commitment to the organizational set goals (Odumeru & Ogbonna, 2013). The above form of transformational leadership needs excellent communication skills since leaders need to express their messages. One of the values that come with the inspirational motivation is the empowerment of subordinates and understanding. For example, President Obama managed to empower many Americans through his inspirational speeches.
