The problems involved in the positive online presence are having no online presence, incomplete or wrong online presence and the improper online presence. The no online presence is where one is anonymous in the internet. The need to have a locked face book profile and some nice comments on it is recommendable. An incomplete online presence is where one has not updated some of the necessary information. In the linked in account, leaving out the current job one has and maybe the one he/she may want to have. Improper online presence entails having some behavior or images that are not good for the potential employers or clients hence you end up losing great opportunities. Another improper online presence may come about when one has posted some contradicting views online with what they actually are. In situations where one posts images of camera assistance yet the company job he has is on communication (Burkell, Jacquelyn & Madelaine, 2015).

The purpose of the positive online presence is to have clear reputation that considers the online views, the firm’s social media profiles and the website ranking which should be high in searches to provide a wider range for prospective clients. Maintaining a positive online presence is important in many ways especially for the developing businesses. The online management ensures credibility in the firm which helps in its growth for enlargement. The business also is able to have a competitive edge due to positive comments from the clients. A perfect way of being unique is by finding ways to continue the great relationship and support with your clients and letting them know that you care.

The information used in the report was collected from some systematicpublished research on positive online presence. The research compared the performance of online presence for the present days with that of the past years. The variation written in percentage form seemed to go up as the years advance. The study showed that the number of people who used online services by 2015 were three billion. 40% of the internet users worldwide have bought goods or services online. The biggest online encyclopedia takes 50% of the key words since it is a trusted site by its users as the job seekers sites recruiting online has risen up to 54% and it is anticipated that the figures will go up since more companies are now opening up to online recruiting. 87% of people use the internet as a comparison shop where for them to purchase goods or services then they have to look at some reviews online.

The rate of growth for the internet usage has by far gone up posing queries to those that have not shown interest to it yet. The effectiveness seen should be appreciated by adopting it and therefore those that have not yet been active in it can see how many clients they are losing. The steps one should follow to enroll online especially for a business purpose is that one should start by going online and then have a plan to move on. Online marketing should be the next step you consider taking while it involves combination of various skills and actions to be taken. When the internet era began, websites were not as many as the brochures online which gave an outline of what the firm was all about, the people working therein and its location. In the present days, everything about the firms is contained in their websites such as: advertising products/ services, client’s research, texting the experienced entrepreneurs, readings clients’ response, making payments and tracking of orders(Sung-Hee, 2017).

In the social media, 55% of the people buying the services search for the information on social media. Though initially they were created to connect people, they later changed to a place for ideal businesses. One can make accounts on social media sites and people take note of it. For the mobile apps, 2082.7 million of smartphones were already connected with internet by June 2016. The connection created a great opportunity for the entrepreneurs to reach their clients easily through their mobile phones. By creating ones app for their client can help boost the business to greater heights. If the clients are willing to download the app, then one must be willing to manage and put the store in their phones so that in case of upcoming sales they can receive it on their phones. The opportunity is good since they can make the orders from the comfort of their homes and pay via credit cards. Use of Google maps is something that is very amazing as it helps you find location when you stuck. The Google map automatically locates the position and the searches you make and shows the results. If one does find their location then they can add it up and people near you can locate you with ease. Therefore, when using websites, local business listing, Google maps, mobile app, social media or more internet services the significance of all is the achievements that one makes.

Online reputation depends mostly on the management of the goods or services on the search website. Overall outlook of search has become the key that defines reputation. Various electronic markets and online commodities are developed and use of control nodes will reduce the threat and protect the systems from abuse of bad people in the networks overlays. Offline management too have a reputation where the management uses chosen defined controls which measures a preferred result presenting what the stake holders thinks about it. Some offline controls includes the some press release tools, social responsibility and the media visibility. Small businesses mainly those with the physical location that give their goods and services from the point may underestimate the necessity of having an online networking. That is wrong since internet is now available worldwide making it easily accessible to all. While 80% online users have a follow up instore visits, the local clients then use the internet to choose what they prefer and find you online rather than driving to your firm location.

Monitoring of local business also needs an online follow up so that you can identify what pleases the clients or their negative responses so as to give them a positive feedback. In the research findings, the small businesses are not maximizing on the benefits of using the internet. Some essential information garnered was that most of the developing businesses do not have IT experts hence using social media for hosting web is favorable for them. The reason behind being that the social media offers a simple template that has many users. The move is so unappealing since many end up missing out the true value of owning a well- defined web.A study carried out by late 2017 May and June showed that the online firms’ presences are mostly the commercial sectors. Schools, governmental organizations and the military among others were not so into using internet. The ones that used it were either using the websites, social media account, e-commerce or blogs. The projected growth on trending is on an upward move. More and more recruits are using web for talents and employments purposes. The curve is intended to move higher year after another and the online search users will at some point be as common. Using the high rate of internetusers’ growth, the online presence will soon replace the cover letters for job seekers. Most people are now using social networks and receiving mails for feedbacks. Employers are analyzing the profiles to find out what kind of a person one is and how they present themselves when they are not at the work place. Finding jobs traditionally by visiting the companies and seeking to be given a job has now been outdated. Creativity and unique talents would help you attract jobs to your websites constantly. The absence from being an onlineuser will automatically lead to missing out of opportunities(Gunter& Barrie, 2016).

The need to go through the views is important so that one can evaluate the position of the business to be good, average or bad. Findings as shown in the graph are that the exercise is practiced regularly by average population whilethe higher proportion reads through occasionally and a few do not take the interest at all. The comparison was done using data for four consecutive years, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The graph shows the percentage of people against their performance online during the four years.

The need here to have an online management is vital as most people depend on the reviews on the websites of the company before making their decision on purchasing the goods or services. A greater proportion reads more views showing the involvement of the review sites. The information depicts that more people need to read positive reviews for them to trust the business.The management controlling the company’s website should make sure that they have an influence on those positive reviews made on the site so as to attract the prospective clients. The action would also help in creating a wider pool for market due to the many views from various people. I f there is any negative response from the client then, it is necessary that the manager response in a polite way to show the client the concern about them.The comparison was done for two years, 2013 and 2014.

The quality of information here should be as equal as the quantity of the products offered. The responds takes half the population saying that they trust if multiple reviews are displayed while the other half is on authentic reviews. Yet there are others who do not take the interest on the either side. Clients’ reviews are important in the sense that one is able to evaluate their business’s performance depending on whether the comments are positive or negative. On the other hand, the need to consider the personal recommendations is equally important.

The rate at which the positive online presence is advancing is very high. From the research, in the past years the online services usage was very low and is improving as the years go by. The trend is encouraging as most people who have not enrolled into it yet will soon be influenced by the high proportion of people who are already using it. The internet usage has also helped in raising the living standards of some people especially these who use it for business purposes. In the near future, the statistics will have translated to greater figures than we can see now due to the high rate of appreciation of the services by it.

Recommendation

The necessity to subscribe to the online services is growing wider. Therefore those that have not found the reason to enroll should be motivated to do so. Since in the days to come, there is a high probability that most of the services will be operated from the online part of view.Online services assist in boosting the firms brand and the services offered therefore for the entrepreneurs who wish to improve their markets it is a good idea to consider being an active internet user. Having strong presence online is vital for marketingpurposes whether the size of the firm is small or big.
