The media technology I have integrated is the telephone.
Telephone media offers me the services of the multichannel passing of information from one point to another. With this device, I am able to chart, access Facebook and other social media send emails as well as making telephone calls. Using this type of media places me in an advanced world compared to the people who lived in the past years. They did not use a telephone that is more sophisticated like it is today. In comparison, old media could not use application we enjoy today like e electronic, mailing and others. My recent interview with my grandfather reveals that the old media they used only send a signal in limited place. An example is a smoke from burning woods and sounds from beating drums. When my grandfather was my age, they burned wood to produce smoke as a sign of communication. In addition, they beat drums to pass information. This paper covers contemporary communication technologies that we covered in class. The concepts covered are convergence and interactive in media technology.

Convergence refers to the process through which media technologies services and industry link and come together by using computing systems, communicating interworking and content communication that is found on websites(kroker, 1984). This concept is depended on time, context and application.
