Bacon, Galileo, and Descartes

Things and aspects are perceived differently by different persons. Furthermore, Galileo states that the appearance of an object is relevant to the senses of the person observing it. He believes that qualities like as shape and velocity, to name a few, are correct in the objects being observed. Some attributes, on the other hand, exist solely in consciousness. John Locke expands on Galileo's ideas, saying that qualities such as size and shape may not have essential differences. However, the secondary characteristics have nothing to do with the items under examination and instead strive to deliver distinct experiences right to us. They include things like color, texture, and flavor, to name a few. To Rene Descartes, he believes that if attributes are subtracted from a given substance, then the resulting object cannot be comprehended by a human (Katherine, Lorraine and Galison 289).

Apples are fruits that possess attractive qualities and properties. This is especially so to the Christians. This is because it is the oldest fruit in the history of Christianity. This fruit is associated with knowledge. This is best explained by the fact that when Adam and Eve took it and ate, they resulted in the status of understanding what was right and what was wrong. This property to date seem similar to people and think that when one eats it, he or she will end up witty. Another property that an apple has is love. This is again explained by the fact that it resembles a heart. In fact, people having emotional connection present this fruit to their spouses as a way of showing their love to them. It also has a property of taste. It is believed to be among the sweetest fruit ever known. Additionally, in local languages in Africa, it is nicknamed to insinuate a given property. For example, in Kenya's Kikuyu community, it is referred to as "I better be jailed." This means that one could better be jailed and have it.
