The researchers of the article analyzed 306 studies that had been conducted from the Journal of Media Psychology over the last ten years. From the analysis, the researchers found out that the experiments that were being performed, the researchers used many human subjects but the samples of media used were narrow and in some cases, not representative. Through this article, we can be able to understand the way media studies are being conducted and the focus that the researchers give when doing their research. This study will allow us to understand some of the reasons why the media has represented the way that it is represented in the media. We can also be able to understand the difference that exists between the real-world media and the media that is expressed in various researches and studies. The study also states how people view the media since most of the studies that were analyzed were found to focus more on human subjects as compared to the representation of the media. Because of this, we can be able to understand the various experiences of people regarding the press. The article is a good source for this study because it presents information for both the human experience and media representation. However, it focuses more on the psychological experiences of people as compared to the image of the media. By using this article, we can be able to develop an understanding of the representation and study of media.
