This research task was tedious and exhausting to complete.
The job itself was tedious, and there were numerous difficulties. Some of the issues were that while some secondary sources were just as trustworthy as primary sources, it was difficult for me to verify the data I got from internet secondary sources like newspapers. There was no means to demonstrate that the data in the sources were accurate and original. Some sources like journal and books were as reliable as the primary source. That was the only good part.
Personal Bias
Most of the secondary sources that found were journals, papers, and online sources. Nevertheless, it was discovered that most of the secondary sources always tend to be biased. Therefore, this was my primary problem since I could not know whether the information obtained is biased or not.
Quality of data
Find sources with quality and reliable information proved to be difficult. The quality of data is related to the accuracy of collecting the information. I discovered that books and journal found on the internet could provide reliable and quality data. On the other hand, newspaper and magazines had poor quality and unreliable information, and hence I decided to avoid them.
Obsolete data
The better part of secondary sources is that they are readily available. The sources are reliable to be used in research but most of them are very old, and therefore they cannot be used. Sources, which are very old such that the data that they are carrying is obsolete. The libraries and the internet are flooded with a lot of books and publications, but one has to check the date they were published to confirm whether they are usable or not.
