My personality has adapted and changed over time. My personality has changed positively due to the different way I view life since my exposure to higher education. This is due to the following circumstances in the course of my university education:
Openness to intellect:
My university education has indeed changed my personality due to my increased intellectual capacity from my high school education. I have met educated men and women along my studies that behave and view life differently from me. This has changed my behavior and hence personality. I have also interacted with other students who hold different cultural values. These students have a different personality from mine and overtime mine has changed.
Conscientiousness:
For me to pursue my university education and pass well in my exams, I have become more organized, responsible, and hardworking overtime. This has changed my personality and adapted to these personality traits to excel in my studies.
Extraversion:
My strong interest and desire for me to get a good job or run a business after my studies has indeed changed my mentality as compared to earlier life and therefore changing my personality. This has forced me to become more social with people practicing in my current field of study. Advice from my lecturers regarding studies and employment life has changed my personality so that I suit myself to that life after completion of my studies.
Agreeableness:
I have acquired a number of friends in the course of my studies. This has forced me to become more cooperative and act in an unselfish manner, hence changing my personality. In the university private space is limited as students live, study, dine, and worship together during the course of the study hence my personality has changed unlike life out of university.
