The Tabiat Bridge
The Tabiat Bridge, one of the most costly bridges in the world, is the biggest and most magnificent architectural creation in Iran. Although it is near a metropolis and some natural features, it is constructed over an open runway. It links two lovely parks, measuring 270 meters in length. Due to the fact that it separates two stunning landscapes, it is also known as the Nature Bridge. On one side of the modern highway, there is a garden and a museum dedicated to the Holy Defense, and on the other, there are beautiful restaurants where people can unwind. Tabiat Bridge is a lovely place where people can view different beautiful scenes of the area, for instance, one could see Tehran at the south and the north from the bridge. This paper will discuss the reasons for choosing Tabiat Bridge, the contracture of the bridge, its eco-friendly and unique design, and other bridges that inspired its construction.
Reasons
The contracture of Tabiat Bridge is amongst the most amazing in the world of architect. The architects who built the bridge sourced for high quality metals that could support such structure in that height. They used a great knowledge of material science and young architects should know the skills and calculations needed to develop a strong bridge. The contracture of the bridge encourages us to know that we can build more creative bridges like this if we are innovative. It has an impressive design constructed using strong metals elevated over a freeway.
The Three Floors
The second reason is how they built the three floors in such a huge bridge over huge highways in Tehran. The topmost floor is supported by strong metals and it is where people can walk and take photos of their view of mountains such as Alborz. The second floor has restaurants and gardens for the view and fresh air. The last floor is very important because it is where you access the bridge. It is the base of the bridge but still lies immediately over the highway. The first floor is constructed by the heaviest metals because it supports the weight of the bridge. This is important because it shows the architects that the foundation of every structure has to be strong to support all levels above it.
Eco-Friendly Design and Natural Connection
The third reason why I choose Tabiat Bridge is because it has an eco-friendly design and connects two parks. The construction of this bridge depicts environmental friendliness because it connects two parks that are natural and its design encourages the safety of the environment. An eco-friendly design shows those who visit the bridge that architects consider the environment as an important factor and encourage measures to keep the environment natural. Unlike other bridges like Khajoo Bridge which is also a pedestrian bridge, Tabiat Bridge allows people to have fun and enjoy time in the restaurants that are not present in other bridges.
