The Incident with the Side View Mirror
I'm writing to explain why my car's driver-side view mirror is gone.
When my squad and I were returning from training last night (2/10/2017), the side view mirror vanished. I regret to state that two of my combat unit officers got attacked by fifteen civilians who were drunk. The inebriated people charged maliciously with reasons unknown to us. I therefore had to intervene in terminating the assault before any damages occurred. I settled the conflict according to Article 50 of Additional Protocol 1 but the civilians surprisingly blamed me for not giving them the chance to do what they wished. One of the civilians sustained injuries during the ordeal and I had to rush him to the hospital using my car.
The Vandalism and Actions Taken
One of the civilians seemed overly irate and broke the view side mirror of my car for revenge. As it was late, I could not find proper equipment to fix it. However, proper action has been taken against the civilian who did the damage. It was late in the night when I came from the hospital and had to report to work early morning. Since I did not want to report to duty late, I used the same car.
Accepting Accountability and Any Punishment
I have however planned to repair the view side mirror of my car as soon as I am off duty later in the afternoon. I hereby accept accountability and accept any punishment directed to me as a result of the automobile vandalism. I will comply with any requirements and orders given to me regarding the issue.
