The globe has faced tremendous problems in recent years, issues of such scale that no one institution or agency can address them on their own. To address these issues, knowledge must be shared and pooled across disciplines, organizations, and continents (Ockwell, Sagar & de Coninck, 2015). Water, energy, food production and nutrition, climate change, and global health are some of these global issues.
To meet these problems, there is a need for multidisciplinary cooperation and collaboration across medical, technological, agricultural, and scientific research institutions and organizations (Hecht, Fiksel & Moses, 2014). Finding funds to help run this research institutions and organizations is important to ensure resources are provided to assist in addressing water, health, energy, food and agriculture and nutrition challenges in a global scale (Wiley, 2015).
Global Scale Measures to Overcome Global Challenges.
Mechanisms and structures should be created to assist individual groups in carrying out their research in developed and developing countries (Bhattacharya, Oppenheim & Stern, 2015). This can be achieved through forming world partners in private and public sectors in both developing and developed countries, and this will encourage collaboration and cooperation in addressing these global challenges (McAllister& Taylor, 2015).
Conclusion
It is crucial that the whole world become aware of the global challenges to come up with appropriate measures to encounter these problems. Moreover, it is important that both developing and developed countries collaborate and cooperate to ensure these issues are addressed in time to prevent the future crisis.
