Choosing the right solution to discovery steps in Robert Frost's The Path Not Taken and Alfred, Lord Tennyson's The Eagle
Robert Frost, the well-known author of "The ROAD Not Taken," was born in San Francisco, California in 1876. He stayed in the city for eleven years, until his father, William Prescott Frost Jr, died of tuberculosis. Following the death of his father, he and his mother relocated to a new town in Massachusetts known as Lawrence. It is where he went to Lawrence High School. He graduated from there and went on to Dartmouth College. Robert is among the famous writers who wrote many works by the year 1894 including “My Butterfly: an Elegy,” that was able to be published in “The Independent,” a weekly journal literary situated in New York City. In his life, he was able to receive over 40 honorary degrees wherein 1924; he was awarded Pulitzer prices for the book New Hampshire with subsequent winning from his collection of poems.

Alfred, Lord the author of “the Eagle” was born in 1809, Lincolnshire England in a family of eleven children. He is well known for his early writing passion at a tender age where he published the first work in the year 1827 “Two brothers,” but was later received by the public until the 1840s. From his publication known as “In Memoriam in 1850 contained a line that “It is better to have loved than even never have loved at all” that brought him a lifeline in his writing career. While at the University of Trinity College he had a close friend whom they joined a literature group known as the Apostles. Here is where he achieved many prizes by winning some like the Gold Medal of the Chancellor for the poem titled “Timbuctoo” in 1829. In the following year, he first published a solo collection: “Poems chiefly Lyrical.” From his career, he publishes many poems which included “the princess” in 1847 and “In memoriam” in 1850, the “Queen Mary” in 1875 among others. The need for exploration requires individuals to view the surrounding that exists next to them in a different perspective to get to learn new things that do not exist in the current situation. According to the poem of Robert Frost “The Road Not Taken” describe to the readers about the essence of exploration into new places where few individual can risk to find out what happens. That is enumerated in the writer’s world when he is out in the woods and does not have a map to guide him on his way. Also, he does not go back and decide to pick so as to continue with the journey. Therefore, the question is that how much are we able to risk so as to learn new things that have not been expressed by naturally exploring our environment? The only way to find out is when we can accept the decision in choosing to explore without turning back from where we came after taking a step ahead. This character is essential because it defines how we are willing to face any challenge that may come along on the path we choose to explore finally. Thus, when found in such situation that it is important to get attracted on the road that is likely to be less used in traveling to show how taking chances to know new things is imperative. The poem “The Road Not Taken” explains the need for exploration so as to have the knowledge about what is beyond the road that has a bend is to keep on with walking.

The need to explore also require people to be independent so as to find out what is not known for many people. For that is the reason why in the poem “the Eagle” by Alfred Tennyson describe a perfect example of the need for exploration to the readers to show how the eagle inspired him when he was in southern France the Pyrenees region that began in the early twenties. However, the poem features a different kind of attitudes, thought and other predispositions to exploration that is capable of allowing us to view the existence of world from the perspective of the “Eagle.” That is because the Eagle is always seen in the sky and high cliff, which are portrayed as another part of the world and is considered to be nearer to heaven more than to the earth. Further, the eagle does not have any competition in this domain matching to the potential that can be in people in the case of exploring into a new venture. It is due to the claim of the eagle on the whole place since he flies in the surrounding as his own. From that, it is evident that writer tries to explain his tendencies in need to explore on the way eagle does. To the writers’ perspective, in reality, the Eagle is not so much as termed to be an explorer but the author puts this on his travel to inspire him few eagle’s nobility and splendor in the field of exploration adventure.

The poem “The Road Not Taken” Written by Robert Frost begins with a different guy who is facing a big decision on the road he is using to walk and the type of life he takes and the rates of the splitting of two roads separating ahead. The setting is in the forest, where it has just yellow woods. According to the poem, there is the color turning of the trees and the falling of the leaves that probably is quite outside, and a smell of an autumn presence in the air. A beautiful road has gravel that runs through the woods with a suggestion of amount of running traffic there. However, it appears to be early in the morning, and the leaves that have fallen are still fresh on the road, and it is also grassy, and there is no sign that the road is wearing. “Leaves fall, and the woods are yellow,” therefore, if a metaphor is represented by the woods of the life of the speaker then is at the fall of his life that is, around the age of 50s (Frost,30). Thus, at this stage of life, there is no turning back since it is too late to change what had been done. As a result, he faces a big challenge of making the decision even though he knows that he will not have time to do so. Examples of such decisions that he fights against ranges from career changing and relocating to a different location. Further, it could be a result of a crisis in the typical life and seeing that he is not even sure of where his life is heading. That is the reason why when he is going to decide it could be major since he believes that he will be talking about what is ahead of his life by saying that it could be a difference. Moreover, it is evident that he appreciates and likes the nature that is why he is out in the woods thinking about the plans to undertake on where and what to do next. Similarly, on his impulsive, adventurous nature, he is capable of spending much time in anticipation of one path and decides to take the other in a split second. Further, he believes that the road he picks is not traveled by most people even if they are evenly the same and have a belief that in future he would be able to say that he took a path that was less traveled for whatever reason.

In the Poem “The Eagle” that is written by Alfred, Lord Tennyson is narrating about the speaker who watches eagle at a very far distance and still able to see details that we would not expect, an example is the crooked hand of the bird. The setting is on a sunny day that is placed on a tall cliff of the seaside, which is near the mountains of the Pyrenees situated in the south of France. There is no cloud only the amazing color of the sky, which is blue that shows the reflection of the water below (Lang, Cecil, and Edgar, 27). Besides that, there is gray and brown rock also seen and the crag that is tall on the sharp cliff piece sticking rock out of the ocean. The eagle is capable of standing at the edge of the cliff by figure-hugging steadily on the rock against any sudden squalls of wind making it look natural and healthy. There is neither human in the insight nor any other birds or animals as the eagle watches the area entirely as the owner. Additionally, on the viewpoint of the eagle, he watches with waves of puny on to the shore just like any thirsty individual would crawl to an oasis. The look of the see is apparently significant over the shirt that has wrinkles. “Pass of iron over those suckers and the sea would be completely flat” (Tennyson, 34) A few minutes’ later feathers can be seen to drop a shape off the crag and then hurtle below the sea. For a moment of processing what we have seen, there is no more summarizing what we know has happened. He likes a British environmentalist, David Attenborough, for his brilliant narration on the documentary of a Brazilian nature such as Blue Planet Earth. The voice of the narrator distinctively describes the quality of the British voice if we have an imagination of how a poem needs to be read. He has a tendency of going over for the odd descriptions and likes to use sounds that are dramatic with words like “wrinkled” and “ring’d.” similarly, like the documentary narrator he has also mustered dramatic pause art like “RING’D with the azure world…he stand.”

A story from the point view of an attempt to explore on the new choice of future life.

(By name)

An exploration of changing new lifestyle.

What does it mean by saying “starting a new life?” That is the common phrase used by many people in a different context depending on what type of life an individual had before. That is a story about a man who decides to make the right means of exploring new things in life to succeed in his dreams.

From my childhood, it has been my dream to study the different fields that would create a brighter future path to follow. That is the reason why I believe in myself to be computer scientist rather than being any other profession. Thus, I was euphoric at the time I joined the college to pursue computer science because from my early childhood I had always programmed. During my studies in the college, I participated in many competitions of software development and programming challenges. The most interesting one is when I won as the lead team in my group on the last project that made us fame to date. Back then I used to call it Chat up, a communication program suited for students or any group upon registration as a unit can discuss and show all the individuals at the same time in the devices used by everyone. Upon the completion of the challenge, I began to explore using it in the real business world to make it a venture as part of my lifetime career.

I would erase the different nature of such a guy who wanted to make a turn in his past. Deciding to choose the right path that has fewer individuals is the best option to explore on how to start a new life. That is the reason why I do not find it had on my current life to change the career path.
