The Importance of a Supportive Organization
The passion of working in any business environment is based on the individual perspective concerning the organization. For employees to be productive, the organization must as such support what they do. Furthermore, optimum potential requires one to outline all the necessary parameters and aspect relevant to both the individual and the company. However, there are some characteristic elements that an organization must have before I consider working.
The Significance of Treating Employees as Essential
First, having an organization as an organism or a body is a critical aspect. With this kind of a firm, employees are considered essential whereby addressing their needs is not an option in achieving the desired organizational efficiency. On the contrary, however, some organizations are based on the theory of classical management whereby employees are considered production machines. In the process, an individual is not given a chance to be creative but instead, work by the provisions of the company. This, as a result, holds back the development of the workers. I would like to work in an organization that embraces employee development and skill but not the one that employs the classical leadership.
The Importance of Valuing Employees
Additionally, employees are the most valuable asset of an organization according to human resource management, a thin I abide with. However, the organizational culture should treat and considers them as people but not robots. Indeed, corporate workers want a business environment where their voices are heard, and grievances addressed whereby I am not an exception. I as well want this kind of organization. I want to be in a place that feels home. An organization whereby formality considers not only productivity but also my.
The Need for Democratic Leadership
Moreover, I would like to work for an organization with a leadership that is democratic and where all the stakeholders’ opinions matter. However, working in an organization like one formulated by Frederick, the Great of Prussia is a nightmare. Frederic postulated that employees should be submissive servants. They should fear their leaders more than their enemies. In my view, such kind of organizational behavior leads to a dictatorial culture, a leadership that does not, in fact, last for long. Typically, it does not associate with any business success and would not like being connected to such nature of culture.
The Benefits of a Team-Based Structure
Markedly, there is no precise way to evaluate the best organization to work. Instead, it all depends on the approaches and structures used and formulated by a particular firm. As a result, I would prefer working with a company whose structure is team-based. In a team workforce, the adaptability when dealing with the environment is fostered hence improving the coordination between the functional specialism. Likewise, this mechanistic approach to organizational performance encourages employee innovation and corporate relationship. I would be glad working in such an environment where personal growth because of novelty is not an option.
The Role of Organizational Environment and Culture
Importantly, evaluating the place you would want to work is critical to your career development. Besides, by analyzing what I have learned in class and integrating it into the real world, organizational environment and culture determine the urge of a person to work in it. A good organization is one that allows employee creativity, the one that listens and addresses the need of its workers, one that promotes teamwork and a cultural environment that fosters career innovation.
