My Vision for the Future of America

I want to begin by thanking all who traveled far and wide to brave the cold of the day and attend my rally. We all made the journey together for a reason, and I believe that many of you came not to see me but due to your belief that the United States can be a great country where everyone is proud to live. I believe that at wartime there is peace and in the middle of despair, there is hope. We Americans have come so far to be divided by the current social and political turmoil that has been experienced in the recent days. The journey that we are traveling today did not start from anywhere. It began back in my childhood when I decided I will not succumb to illiteracy and poverty. I decided to work hard in my academics until I got to the highest education level in the country. In my first Job as a community organizer, I was paid peanuts, but I ensured I invested my money well and in the end, I succeeded. The thinking motivated me that I can contribute positively to creating a better America. I realized after working with lay-people and the pastors that the primary ailment to our society is not poverty, illiteracy, or disease but poor leadership. Incompetent and unworthy leaders misuse public resources and adopt poor legislation that does not rhyme with the needs of the people (Denton-Borhaug 125). As your president, I will ensure that fighting poverty, ignorance, and disease are my top priorities through effective leadership.

The founders of our nations designed a government system that can be changed and the country has indeed shifted bearing in mind the current crisis of disease outbreaks that have become difficult to contain. Many people are dying in large numbers due to zombie attacks, a situation that if proper precautions were taken, we could not have found ourselves in the current predicament. America cannot walk alone, and we cannot continuously close our eyes and imagine we can ignore the happenings beyond our borders (Dougherty, and Moeller 1092). Presently, the world zombie crisis has struck our nation and not even our very own medical researchers can find the therapeutic drugs. The situation could have been handled better if as a country, we sat together before the crisis and looked for amicable solutions. As your president, I will be proactive in ensuring that the interests of the American people are our priority. No American deserves to die due to any strange ailment. Every time the United States has faced challenges, a new generation emerges to look for solutions. We are here to provide the answers to most of the problems that have ailed our country for decades.

We cannot allow tyrannical leaders to continue bringing America to its knees. In the past, the United States has risen beyond depression and secession, and I believe with my able leadership, I will steer the country in making sound decisions. In the face of global health challenges, the United States has in the past developed an affordable and quality healthcare that is universal (Dougherty, and Moeller 1092). My government will ensure that the health sector is adequately funded especially in the field of medical research. Therefore, under my leadership, the country and indeed the world will never experience the current devastating global conflict against the zombies. Ladies and gentlemen, a state cannot achieve any developmental milestones without the much-needed peace. Therefore, I will work hard in collaboration with other elected, and appointed political leaders to propagate the peace agenda both locally and internationally. Global conflict has been accelerated by the rising cases of terrorism, where innocent men women lose their lives in the hands of a few individuals. Under my leadership, I will ensure the country is proactive and that our borderers are safe and secure and that no one will have illegal access to the United States. It is time the United States joins other like-minded nations to ensure global peace and stability (Hiden 145). Conflicts in the Middle East have slowly made most of the citizens lose faith with the government, which has failed to counter the zombie threat. In times of disaster, the United States has always stood to survive. The country needs a leader who will push for policy changes aimed at rebuilding the country. We the Americans have the necessary mental and physical requirements to survive any disaster. Just like the zombies who believe that they can survive anything with the correct tools, we the Americans have the science, and with the right thinking, can fight the worldwide zombie outbreak.

Zombies have invaded human space and are strong-willed to eliminate human beings from the face of the earth. Notably, in the same manner, the zombies of corruption and selfishness have invaded our leaders, and many have decided to prioritize their interests at the expense of the general public. Leaders are supposed to be guarders of public resources and should utilize them in the best way possible for the benefit of the people (Hiden 145). I recognize the contribution of the past leaders who have ensured that we inherited a peaceful nation. We as the current generation should ensure we pass a better country to our children and future generations. The idea can only be possible if we allow ourselves to work together for the common good of the Americans. We should not let ourselves to be divided by our origin, race, gender, or sexual orientation.

My fellow Americans, I reference president John F. Kennedy who frequently asked Americans to always think about what they can do for the country and not what the nation can do for them. We all have unique abilities, and when our talents are brought together, no mountain is impossible to climb. Strong-willed men and women have created powerful nations in the world. I, therefore, ask every true citizen of this country to consider giving me a chance to serve as your commander in chief and I will do my best to ensure the American dream becomes a reality. We as a nation have come so far to despair, and with the power of your vote, we can change the fate of the United States. America does not need a foreigner to solve her issues (Hiden 145). America needs a visionary leader who is committed to the course of progressive development both socially, politically, and economically. The United States should be the leading nations in shaping global politics, and we should set the pace as a nation able to deal with its problems. Ladies and gentlemen, amongst my worthy competitors, I have the goodwill to change the story of the American people for the better.
