Healthcare Delivery and Clinical Systems

During my nursing job, I've been able to comprehend beliefs that I previously had only a passing acquaintance with.

I've learned about patient care, my job as a nurse, the value of teamwork in accomplishing company goal and vision, patient health concerns, ethical workplace practices, and health policies. My essay will go over the subjects mentioned above in depth and emphasize their significance to the nursing profession.

Throughout my training, I've learned the value of teamwork among hospital personnel like doctors and nurses to guarantee that patient health care is maintained at all times.

Professional collaboration is a major driver of effective health breakthroughs. Team work within professionals also promotes quality delivery and reduces goal blindness (Grace & Peter, 2017).

Healthcare Delivery and Clinical Systems

In my clinical program, I realized that health delivery has largely been boosted by factors such as technology where MRI and X-RAY machines work quickly and efficiently. Electronic data has also boosted health care delivery as nurses don't have to carry nursing files all over but just log in to a computer and check necessary information i.e. patient healthcare history.

Healthcare professionals will need to familiarize with current technology trends which will be adopted within healthcare systems to be able to fully understand how new technology trends can be effectively used to promote healthcare delivery (Bardhan & Mark, 2013).

Ethical Considerations

Nursing is a holistic discipline that embraces diversity.A nurse should be conversant with regional cultural and traditional beliefs to work in line with them where necessary; some communities do not allow lady nurses to deliver rear injections to male patients hence healthcare facilities within such a region will work to see that all male patients who need injections are attended to by male nurses.

Ethical considerations in health care boost relationships between the local community and the healthcare professions. Patient and healthcare professions relationships have been noted to promote healthcare i.e. with good relationships, radical communities who only believed in herbal medicine may be convinced to adopt modern medication through good relationships.

Population Health Concerns

During my clinical program, I realized that there has always been a rise in the number of food safety patients, patients with alcohol related problems and heart diseases. I believe it is time for health care fraternity to adopt the prevention is better than cure policy and start educator programs that inform the patients on how to avoid such diseases.

Role of Technology in Improving Healthcare

Technology has greatly improved healthcare delivery by making it simple, safe and fast. Patient history retrieval has been made easier, and the use of mobile communication from one department to another in seeking answers has been made quick making healthcare delivery more efficient for both nurses and patients (Free, Philips & Andy, 2013).

Health Policies, Leadership and Economic Models

My nursing program has given me the knowledge on how health care policies play. Healthcare professionals sitting in management positions should ensure that formulated policies are conducive for all staff and also the patients. Economic models such increase in pay due to inflation should also be addressed to boost nurse's motivation.

Health Disparity

In my clinical program, I realized that health disparity is real where the rich get better health care by visiting top private hospitals while the low income visit affordable hospitals. The government should formulate and implement policies which see that socially disadvantaged populations also get best healthcare services.

My Professional Practice

All through my professional practice, I have learnt skills that make me a competent nurse in delivering healthcare solutions as per my roles. However, to optimize optimal outcomes, I would campaign for patient education on ways to prevent diseases to reduce illnesses. I look forward to the formulation of policies which uphold prevention methods other than curing methods.
