The hungry eye as a depiction of evil
The baby adopts the hungry eye to depict the evil look. Such hunger is illustrated when the kid regulates the concentration of the eye and closes it a bit to ensure that it is not widely open. The baby also shifts the eye contact mood from laughter to silence by blinking and slightly closing the eye lids.
Non-verbal communication through eye contact
The eye contact that the baby creates helps to send the non-verbal communication of hunger to the observer. Thus, the kid becomes irritated or curious by giving a unique eye contact to the observer. There is also pupil dilation, which is experienced through the contraction and expansion of the black part of the eye. Thus, hunger and evil state is illustrated by the baby through the dilation of the pupil.
Emotional expression through eye gaze
The baby also embraces a unique eye gaze on each occasion of laughter and evil. Such is accomplished through staring and looking at the observer in different manners. Thus, while looking at the observer, the baby is able to convey the emotions of hostility and happiness. Such is done by ensuring that there is a change of the nature of eye gaze in each of the occasions.
Shifty eyes and deception
The kid also embraces the shifty eyes. These convey the message of inability to sustain the normal eye contact. The implication is that the individual that is involved is deceptive or lying. Thus, the baby is indicating that the evil eye is not real, but for fun to be enjoyed by the observers. Moreover, the baby is also embracing avoidance of the eye contact when changing the situation from evil eye to the laughter. These make it possible for the observer to notice the associated differences.
