This article examines the effect of technology and internet use on adolescent behavior. The authors utilize a quantitative method of collecting data from eight hundred and ten high school students from fourteen schools in Tirana city. The results of the study indicated that the use of internet among the adolescents as not just a virtual or parallel environment but also an integral part of their everyday lives. This article is crucial in research on how unlimited digital device usage in teenagers will affect their life as it highlights their inclination to staying awake through late night while on the internet ignoring not only their social interactions but also school, homework, and the world in general, a behavior that is taking the dimensions of internet addiction towards technology.

This article explores the extent to which the internet usage can affect the teenagers’ behavior, examines the reasons why teenagers participate in negative online activities as well as offering recommendations on ways that can assist in minimizing involvement in such activities among teenagers in Omani. The study utilized data collected from five hundred students of both genders in the Sultanate of Oman. This article is important as it provides an understanding of the adverse effects of certain online activities on adolescents as well as the high-risk consequences on their behavior while stressing on the importance of reducing such effects which affect their overall wellbeing.

This article examines the use of technology among adolescent students including their interest in learning language and literacy. The study involved collecting data from five hundred and thirty-one urban students to ascertain their access to and frequency of using technological devices such as laptops, desktops, mobile phones as well as their interest in using social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook among others.  The results of the research indicated a considerable potential to assimilate technology usefully with language instructions for urban teenage learners with linguistically varied backgrounds.  This article is helpful in research as it provides extensive information on the importance of the use of technology to assist students in improving their language literacy through numerous exposures.

The authors of this article examine how social media is perceived to affect the mental health and overall well-being of the adolescents. Data was collected from six groups with fifty-four adolescents of ages eleven to eighteen from schools in London and Leicester. The results of the research revealed that teenagers deduced social media as a risk to the mental wellbeing including causing anxiety and mood disorders, a platform for cyber-bullying and some addiction. This article is essential for research as it provides extensive information on how the use of social media affects teenagers’ mental health and their general well-being.
