The development of cutting-edge communication strategies
The development of cutting-edge communication strategies used by radio stations has been significantly affected by the invention of new technologies. Regardless of the nation that their listeners are from, radio stations are currently expanding their service to a broader area. As Radio Ambulante grows, the station should work to produce well-balanced music and other shows that are tailored to the preferences of the country's young people.
The preferences of young individuals in the USA
The preferences of young individuals in the USA are similar. Therefore, in order for Radio Ambulante to reach a larger population of young people outside of its borders, it (Radio Ambulante) needs to focus on delivering the best preferences for the young people in the USA in regards to music and other programs that best fit them. Besides, young people can be grouped into different categories based on what they like and prefer in entertaining (Hoover & Clark). These are evident from the peer groups formed because of the different taste in entertainment that young individuals find appealing.
Different preferences in entertainment for young people
While there are some groups of young people, who will prefer less of music and encourage more educative programs that mentor them to uplift their moral lives. Others will prefer music programs and talent-based programs that will make them participatory during the programs (Hoover & Clark). These actions are the resulting products of human's extraordinary capability to use the social world to establish what works and does not work for them.
The importance of a diverse music program
Even though music is an element admired by most individuals, music programs should consist of different tastes of music, which should be played on the sequential format to make more young men like the program (Martin & Fabes). Different youth tend to have a different taste in music depending on various factors such as passion and social upbringing. Therefore, the playlist used should be designed in a way that will appeal to the entire youth generation to avoid losing the potential audience. Additionally, it is critical to understand that presenters play a critical role in attracting more audience to stations (Martin & Fabes). As a result, it is important for the radio presenters to be attractive and well informed of youth preferences and how to handle young people needs (Martin & Fabes). The knowledge will be critical in enhancing quality service not only to a group of youth but the entire youth fraternity.
The importance of a well-balanced program
In conclusion, the expansion of Radio Ambulante will undeniably increase the audience's coverage. It will be important for the station to create a well-balanced program that serves both the youth who have a special liking for music as well as those who are more inclined to listen to educative programs. A balanced program will enhance cultural appreciation, which will translate to its increased audience.
