Nietzsche and Marx

God created humans, but the most wonderful thing is that each human creature has his or her unique nature. Marx and Nietzsche have opposing views on the essence of human beings. Human beings, according to Marx, express their drive in a spontaneous and creative manner in order to develop products that promote individual and social fulfillment. Nietzsche's ideas revolved around the nature of human values. Nietzsche divided human morals into two categories: slave morals and master morals. Passivity, humility, and weakness are characteristics of slave morality, whereas independence, creativity, and strength are characteristics of master morality. According to Nietzsche, the basic moralities explain the biological and psychological character of humans. Marx Arguments on labor and German ideology

Labor

Labor is a field that has attracted the attention of many social scientists for millennia. In the past, theologian and philosophers were much concerned with the implications of this concept. Plato a prominent social scientist saw the ultimate society in which the community would be segregated into standard artisans, rulers, and laborers. Therefore, any researcher who is fascinated with studying society must keep in mind the idea of division of labor. This concept was introduced by Karl max.

Marx is still remembered in this modern world because of his great contribution in the field of economy. Admittedly, Karl Max was a social scientist who argued that the economic system is based on the concept of human production. He asserted that mankind is an autonomous creature and therefore, man is a special species in this world. Marx further argued that it is difficult to define a man without the considering his labor. According to Marx, a man is differentiated from other animals by the ability to organize his production. The idea of production was an Archimedean concept for Karl Marx. He noted that human life should be viewed in the perspective of family, religion, law, state, art, and science. Therefore, in view of these elements, it is understandable why the labor division was a remarkable point in the Karl Marx arguments.

Marx envisioned a perfect human society. He believed in the existence of the community which precedes a recorded human past. Because of the lack of the alienated production, in this contemporary world men are experiencing a lack of sense of the alienation. Marx never explained vividly the concept of alienation. For instance, men were divided in the alienated patterns which later led to the emergence of the private properly. Men started to share products from other men’s labor for their own benefit. As a result, they enslaved for using other people’s goods. This idea was announced by Marx in 1884 and formed the basis of his economic contributions.

Marx argued that the man’s life forces are stolen from him under the alienated system of labor. He further explained that the difficult life the man is facing results from the checkpoint of labor division, however, this is different from the essence of the man's real life. A man is pitted against his fellow man under in the division of labor because it encourages class differences hence undermining peace and harmony among human beings. Marx had regards for theology with peace of mankind and that is why he was against the division of labor.

German Ideology

Marx in the German Ideology, he asserted that labor division makes a man to sell his own skills to another person hence enslaving him. He further argues that particular social and economic conditions brought by capitalism alienate the society to the slavery. Workers fill that they have lost control when their production is cut from them. According to Marx, alienation brings fetishism of production and products. Marx hold alienation can be aborted by proletariat take over by means of production.

The main concept in German ideology according to Marx is ideology. He asserts that ideology is camera obscura that changes the picture in reality on it is the head. Marx argued that ideology reflects a social inverted image which is false and distorted into reality. Admittedly, Marx opposes the idea of reality as portrayed through ideology. Marx integrates the ideology function and human development of the material.

In view of the German ideology, Marx argued that ideas and thoughts are constructed in a social manner and they are related to the community material conditions and that consciousness is determined by the existence. He further said ideology can be distinguished from other forms of culture by inverting and distorting picture reality as its conceived in the society. In fact, ideology is viewed as universal and objective. Marx disregards family values and nationality as ideology.

Marx argues that ideology results from tangible class conflict and in German ideology, the concept of ruling class in considered being dominant. He said that ideology works well in existing beneficiaries and social order. Considerably, Marx affirms that the person who controls material production is equally in control 9of the ideological production sustaining the process of production. According to Marx, every revolution has the duty to present a new ideology to sustain the upcoming social order.

Nietzsche Arguments on the Genealogy of Morals

In the Nietzsche’s argument about the difference between a thing and it is meaning, we discover the earlier doubt in which he unravels our assumptions. Generally, we usually view things to be having inherent definitions. For example, punishment is the act of punishing. According to Nietzsche, the two terms at different times they mean something different. Notably, the act of punishing is a celebration of somebody’s power and sometimes it is the act of cruelty and sometimes is a tit for tat act. Therefore, it is not easy to understand a thing and we cannot equally understand it is origin if we continue to assume they have the similar definition.

According to the main critique of Nietzsche, a thing is viewed as the genealogy attempt that indicates the undirected and winding direction which our various moral ideas have gone through to reach the present shape. Nietzsche asserts that morality is entirely viewed as the sacred since people preempt their morals on the transcendental grounds such as tradition, reason, and God. In contrast to our perception, we assume that evil, bad, and good things have the uniform definitions. Nietzsche genealogical explains how the aforementioned terms came to be hence shattering all the illusions of the general truth of out today moral ideas.

Ideas can have several meanings that are contradictory in nature and therefore, Nietzsche does not affirm that things are the primary elements that define reality. He critically evaluates the ideas beneath to determine the reason why similar terms have different meanings. He eventually discovered that different terminologies have the different meaning because of the people’s will and will. Nietzsche further asserts that different definition of the similar word is as a result of different wills for the power feeling.

The main argument of the Nietzsche in genealogy is the quest for our morality. Ultimately, Nietzsche asserts that our current morality is intrinsic because of our hatred and resentment that was previously felt towards the powerful, healthy, and strong things. Nietzsche views our modern morality to be dangerous to the prosperity and future health because of the hatred feeling of people. He said barbarians and blonde beasts of the primitive master morality are animalistic and such is healthy and strong. In other words, our current ascetic morality has strengthened our strong instincts and therefore, we see ourselves are species which struggles in the new wilderness.
