Learning logs are a strategy for storing intelligence through logging notes (Smith 154). This approach assists students with organizing thoughts learned in class. Although there are other ways to arrange knowledge from a lecture, this one is more efficient. Students at both ages have benefited from learning logs. Younger students in lower grades will write and learn more creatively (Park 269). The process of deciding whether to write and the format of organising the tasks opens up the imagination, reshaping inspiration. Furthermore, higher grades are better able to organize their everyday experiences. Essentially, learners are able to take charge of their learning process (Mouri et al. 45). One element of this model of learning is encouraging independent learning. Before an individual takes anything onto a paper, the first stage involves creating images in the mind to articulate the content to write. This is strongly beneficial to children who are in the lower classes. Frequent use of logs support understanding of sophisticated concepts. Additionally, Park (2015) affirms that the literacy levels can be evaluated using this procedure.

Learning logs should be updated instantly after a certain period of time. Content is written while they are fresh in the mind to alleviate the chances of forgetting. The act of picking important point can be utilized to acquire a huge amount of information within a given time. The learner is able to read more and at the same time retain a lot of information. Reading summary is different from cramming since one does not get fatigued quickly.
