Social media platforms are places where various people can connect for a variety of reasons. Most people sign up for social media sites for entertainment purposes, making it a location where anyone can comment on the news in a lighthearted manner. Others join it for business-related reasons. They would post their official photos online, like on Facebook, and begin posting work requests on a regular basis. Some people sign up for social media platforms so they can access the most recent news as well. Due to the disparity in interest in joining social media platforms, a large number of individuals do so globally. Employers or prospective employers should not be prohibited from viewing employees' social media accounts in the case of employees. (Lapkoff 99).

In social media, everyone has the courage to speak out anything. This act should be of high concern to the employers. Many competing relevant counterparts may lead to the failure of c company if its secrets are leaked. Not all the employees are loyal to the company they work for. They may be dissatisfied due to various reasons, like comparability with how other companies run. This would push the employees do anything possible to have themselves sacked from the company and join the other one. They would end up sharing the secrets of the current company to their rivals to see it fall and have the excuse of leaving the company. Therefore, the employers should be very keen and be checking on the social sites of their employers to avoid such incidents from happening.

As well, some organizations get profit in according with how they daily run their activities over the social sites (Lapkoff 100).
These companies have their employees attached to their specific computers to advertise their goods and services over the media on regular basis. As we all know, the social media is additive when is used daily. Employees who are addicted to it and are placed in sensitive departments in such companies would end up failing the company. Instead of using much time working for the company, they would find themselves checking through their social media accounts more than the job they are required to tackle. This would make the business run at a loss and eventually fall, when the revenues are compared to the cost (Jackson and Grant 35).
The Importance of Proper Evaluation
Potential employers are those who are willing and able to employ competent workers. Social sites has been a place where individuals form their profiles, showing off, to have high profiles though, they are not. Some would even indicate that they have a Doctorate in Philosophy in a certain field, only to find that the highest level of education of that person is high school. Therefore, the potential employers should be very keen on such people. When they are looking for individuals to recruit through the social sites, they should make arrangements in any manner to proof their qualification according to the required field of work. Failure to which, they would employ such individuals who would at long last fail the whole organization (Burtless and Sveta 70).
The Significance of Social Media for Organizations
In conclusion, it is vital for both the employers and the potential employers to be considerate about the social sites of the employees because those are places where the employees can influence the failure or the success of the organizations they work for; companies succeed if the sites are maintained.
