Healthy Touch, Good Boundaries, and Safe Kids
Healthy Touch, Good Boundaries, and Safe Kids is designed to educate children on safe physical contact. The clip focuses on teaching children types of touch and approaches to unhealthy touch. Children get to learn about good or healthy touch, bad touch, and wrong touch. At the same time, strategies on how to get help in cases of inappropriate touch are learned.
Good touch and Bad touch
According to the video, good touch comes mostly from people that one knows or trusts. For example, apart from on the back, hugs, and high fives. Healthy touch aims at showing love and care. Bad touch is mostly used when people are irritated, and it is depicted as an unsafe type of touch. Children are advised against using such touches; they include; pushing, kicking or hitting someone (Stewart). The bad touches can hurt someone or even make a person get into trouble. Wrong touch any touch to the private areas of the bodies. Children get advised against allowing people to touch their private parts unless it for medical purposes. Generally, the video aims at teaching children on how to protect their bodies from unhealthy touch. In the contemporary world, the clip is useful for protecting kids against sexual abuse.
Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is a type of abuse by one person against another in a domestic setting. The act usually involves a spouse, but can also be inflicted by a child, elderly relative or any family member. In Patrick Stewarts talks about domestic violence, Patrick speaks of first-hand violence that he experienced has a kid. Patrick speaks of how domestic violence against a woman was a shameful secret. All people in the community knew about it, and yet on one would dare do anything to stop the assault. According to family members, violence was shaming and embarrassing and ought not to be exposed. Within the immediate family circle, it was a shameful and embarrassing aspect, and no one wanted it exposed or discussed. The consequence was that the abuse continued against women as the authorities and community continued to turn a blind eye against the act. Patrick's father was an angry and unhappy man who could never control his emotions. Patrick's mother was always at the receiving end; being assaulted whenever the father's emotions would run high. Patrick advises the only solution is for women to seek intervention against assaults.at the same time, they learn it domestic globe is common around the world and ought not to be embarrassed. Women should openly talk about domestic violence so that the government can intervene. Generally, the biggest problem surrounding domestic abuse is the shame tied to it; the victim, as well as the abuser, feel humiliated to talk about the exploitation. Woman learn they are not the only ones who suffer in the cause of battering but also their children. Domestic Violence PSA depicts a bride in a wedding vowing to stand by her bridegroom in all circumstances. The wife swears to make excuses even when humiliated by the husband to be and to value herself less when belittled. In the clip, women learn they are to blame for abuse for domestic violence.

Vocal cues convey information about people personalities. Speech traits such as vowel shortening, obstruent devoicing, deletion, vowel lowering and raising vary depending on one's origin. Having speakers around the continue to recite the same series of words makes it easier to trace a general trend in spoken English. Speakers can be compared since they are all pronouncing the same type of words. For instance, devoicing final consonants is a common mistake among non-native English speakers. Pronunciation is among strategies that be applied to learn more about people traits and origins.
People sometimes speak the same language but with a different accent or in a different dialect. From time to time, mixed reactions arise due to the variations. For instance, New Yorkers feel the Southern U.S accent is more of intonation and words get mashed together. Other times Southerners speak slowly with soft words followed by hard consonants and exaggerated vowels. The accent is also depicted as thick and hard to understand and even compared to the Black English. Cases where long vowels are used, the word pen may sound like 'pe-an,' Jan as 'Ja-yun.' Other times southerners drop sound /g/ at the end of the word, for example, the word coming is pronounced as 'comin.' The instances make the New Yorkers think people in the Southern do not speak proper English. On the other hand, Southerners tend to think the New York speak faster while clipping most of their words. New Yorkers articulate alveolar consonants such as /t/, /d/, and /n/ with the tongue blade rather than the tip of the tongue. Some of the phrases in the New York accent include 'what's up,' 'get lost' and 'I should worry.' Southerners depict the words as a twist to the general American English. Conclusively, dialects and accents vary globally and how people speak is mainly determined by their upbringings. However, people ought to respect each other's dialects and accents.
