Health is a state of wellness and the absence of diseases; globalization may be understood as a process of internalization, which also refers to the process by which ideas and opinions are shared across regions, cultures, and societies. The consequences of globalization on the global health sector and how healthcare needs and campaigns develop over time must be highlighted. Different health issues have persisted throughout history, and these issues have shaped the need for healthcare in each century. The 20th century was marked by health challenges associated widespread in the use of tobacco hence a call on health agencies of the 20th century to provide remedies for the alarming health related challenges of the excessive use of tobacco. There is need to also point out that at the beginning 21st the outbreak of HIV was a major point of call with South Africa leading a protest against ineffective antiretroviral drugs. The South African HIV mobilization campaign was led by its Treatment Action Campaign (TAC). Immediately following the South African campaign, was a period characterized by a need to engage economic, liberal institutions and policies makers to strike a balance between corporate power and access to primary healthcare. However, there is a need to stress that we currently live in an advanced world characterized by new technological knowhow and the current health and globalization related issues of is era are technologically inclined. With areas of consideration such as the need to determine the right selling ideas and to also determine the right medium to reaching prospective clients.
Conclusion
Globalization and health are closely related because as the society advances from one phase to another, the health requirement changes. There need to conclude that with globalization comes the need for improvement in the health sector to meet the demands of the current generation.
