King George III oversaw the colonization of the United States by the British Empire. The colonists from America were mistreated by his government. For instance, American citizens were required to pay taxes and were denied the ability to deal with nations other than Britain. The colonists, however, were not entitled to representation in the assembly. Therefore, they fought a revolution and declared independence in order to demand their rights and complete freedom. "All men are created equal, with the right to life and liberty," they emphasized. Since the Americans wanted freedom, the Declaration of freedom represented their grievances against the British colony. As a result, the Revolutionary War was unavoidable. Besides, the colonists declared independence due to denial of their rights by their colony. Notably, several grievances against the Britain King George were listed by the Americans as the main reason for their independence demand. Firstly, Americans were restricted from trading with other nations apart from Britain. They were also limited in parliament representation since they had no representative in the Britain government to discuss or vote laws concerning their rights. Britain sends its army to burn houses and destroy the lives of citizens through Massacres which was against humanity. However, they abdicated America government by declaring war against the US citizens as well as failing to protect them.
Specific actions that grievances refer
Particularly, the Americans had specific activities which the complaints involved. For example, the king passed Stamp Act bill in 1765. Also, the Tea Act of 1773 highlighted high taxes to be paid to Britain. Also, the Navigation Act of 1660 prevented the Americans from trading with other countries. The bill stated that all the goods to be transported to America had first to arrive in England. The Americans responded by boarding an East China ship in Boston, and they dumped all the loads of tea on the water, and the Britain responded by passing Boston tea party. Also, the king sent his army to guard the colonists. He also forced Americans to squatter the army which was against citizens’ rights.
Significance of the grievances actions to American lives
However, the British actions presented in claims by the Americans were significant to the Americans lives. The effect of the restriction of parliamentary representation is significant to the citizens. It is the right of the individuals to be represented in the government to ensure equality and agreement in making and passing laws concerning each person in the state. Trade restriction action is also significant since trade helps in boosting the nation’s economy. Liberty is paramount in person’s life. If colonial era were to end, the Americans would live in happiness and with a lot of freedom. Also, Killing of their fellow citizens by the British army was against right to life and humanity. Indeed, this served as the primary reason for the declaration of independence.
Conclusion
Finally, I don't believe that the American Revolution could be inevitable if the Britain government had addressed the grievances presented. For instance, the American colonists had been fighting for many years in search of independence and liberty. In fact, this is the reason why in the independence declaration they stated that they were in need of right of life full of happiness and freedom as any other person in the society. Additionally, the country had been pressing towards autonomy for several years and therefore would not be willing to admit any sought of British structure and government.
