The Importance of Effective Communication Skills in Interpersonal Ties
The formation of interpersonal ties between employees and management is influenced by effective communication skills inside a business (Hutton, 2017). The top management can rely on their staff to establish enduring commercial ties with clients as a result of which customers will show loyalty. Furthermore, having effective communication skills will help the company grow because effective communication fosters teamwork. For instance, the staff' increased interaction with clients will boost the company's reputation. Consequently, the company will draw in more clients who want to do business with it (Hutton, 2017). Additionally, those who possess strong communication abilities are more likely to improve skills at work through intuitive interaction with the information gained during communication. As a result, the employee will increase efficiency in the delivery of services that will impact customer satisfaction positively.
Consequences of Communication Problems in a Business Scenario
In a business scenario in which there are communication problems, many problems are likely to occur that may reduce the success of business. For instance, when the top management does not communicate effectively with the employees, the duties will not be performed to the expectations (Hutton, 2017). At times, there are delays in the product delivery since there will be low morale which will affect their drive to perform duties efficiently. Also, the services rendered by lowly motivated employees will be of low quality and therefore, there will be instances for the work to be repeated and thus wasting time. With time, the low-quality services and products provided to the customer will result in low customer satisfaction. Eventually, businesses will fail to expand and run the risk of generating losses in case of poor communication.
