Throughout history, people have demonstrated adaptability in the face of adversity by actively participating in the response and recovery efforts to the situations that impact them. They accomplish this with the available technology, expertise, and assets (Palen, Vieweg, & Hughes, 2009), including various telecommunication technologies. Individuals communicate using a variety of information sources; hence, internet-decentralization technology comes in handy because they will be able to access all of the resources they require while communicating much more effortlessly. While conversing, the technology allows users to communicate and exchange various multimedia materials such as images, audios, and videos. Internet-decentralized communication starts with the Internet though it is linked to a sequence of communication technologies that are mediated, for example, telephone, and telegraph. The advent of internet technology made information sharing rapid (Thorne, 2008). Internet-decentralized communication has been included in various life aspects. There is a difference between the internet-based communication and the conventional offline world is slowly resulting to be less useful given that tasks within the realm are getting merged to today's world.
Today, technology has made the behaviors of seeking information and self-organizing among people more noticeable, and increased the scales of social interaction and changed the trends in communication. Within the decentralized internet world, people can now depend on information distributed by peers as they find it to be precise and they receive it in a timely manner. People can receive information from multiple sources which can assist them to make decisions as compared to when they base their decision of a single source (Xenos, & Deliberation, 2008). Also, decentralized-internet communication present new ways in which people interact either within and outside social context. The extent to which they communicate depends on the kind of communication technology that is in place.
As the internet communication becomes more and more decentralized, many individuals are slowly trying to embrace it so that they can be relevant in the society they are living. The decentralization has had an impact on technology used by people and the manner in which they communicate. Communication has been effective and users are satisfied with the services they receive. Compared to the conventional communication that never made use of technologies such as the internet, the internet-decentralized is better given that it has more features that make use of technology to make it easy to communicate easily and information to reach a larger population within a short time.
Internet-decentralized communication has become common in today's society. A majority of the interactions made today take place through internet-based technologies, for example, emails and chats. The E-mail technology is dominant in many formal set ups such as offices where workers can use it to communicate either within the organization or even outside, and it has proved to be efficient due to its privacy and professional nature (Masoni, Guelfi, & Shtylla, 2011). Also, the email and chat technologies assist individuals keep up relationships with people who are in different locations. A large population around the world get engaged in various communication forums online, for example, dialogue that are critical where they give thoughts and critique of other members concerning some conceivable question. In such forums, the decentralized internet makes it possible for them to exchange ideas lively as documented by various cyberculture observers. Another aspect that can ascertain the increased internet-decentralized communication is the great success evident with Internet dating, where people are able to get connected with potential partners that they could not have met in an ordinary communication. For most people, it is hard to imagine what life could have been were not for the advents in technology that gave rise to the decentralization of internet technology.
The idea of internet-decentralized communication is distinctive challenges in the manner it is presented to the society that is characterized with rapid changes in the societal set up. The manner in which information is collected, intergraded and shared within the various communication channels is a challenge to people who were used with the conventional communication approaches (Thorne, 2008). The process for media-digitization is a challenge to some and to others they lack the necessary technology to enable them digitalized a media before sending it. Therefore, this communication approach requires other technologies for it to work effectively within different environments and people who are conversant with the traditional approaches of communication need to be enlightened for them to embrace the internet-decentralized communication.
Argument
The impact of technology and communication that is improving and spreading rapidly in today's world can be felt the internet-decentralized communication. As opposed to the previous technologies, with the decentralization of internet, people can exchange multiple types of media materials simultaneously and in a digital format. The technology has created a new environment for communication that makes it possible for users to managed their communication at a personal level as per their requirements thus changing the conventional habits associated with communication, that makes it possible for users to plan their communication activities at a personal level depending on their preferences, hence shifting the conventional attitudes and characters associated to communication.
Discussion
Unlike the previous years when the use of decentralize-internet communication was not common and was perceived to be of no use. Today, the technology is slowly being embraced to enhance the communicative performance in society. The technology has proved to be critical, people and businesses entirely depend on the technology to execute their activities. Companies are today performing their interviews through instant messaging. Communications within companies are dependent on email services, chats, blogs, and other technologies based on the internet (Thorne, 2008). Smartphones have further enhanced the internet-decentralized communication, the devices can support different services that can also be supported by computers provided they have internet connectivity, for example, chats, emails, among others. The shift to internet-decentralized communication is becoming almost inevitable it today's world. The advent of newer technologies for communication are making people to be aggressive and eager to learn and as a result, the technologies present them with opportunities to settle on decisions that are transformational making it easy for them to achieve their goals in life.
The increasing prevalent use of the Internet-decentralized communication need people to do away with the traditional approached and embrace the unique online environment that has proved to be advantageous over time. This technology presents people with alternatives for communication, one can use any available communication technology that he or she might find convenient. How to determine the ideal internet-decentralized technology depends with the devices and the technology a user can easily access (Masoni, Guelfi, & Shtylla, 2011). The communication approach has eliminated the setbacks presented by the traditional forms of communication. It has changed the manner in which people present themselves and how they respond. Compared to conventional communication approach where one could not determine if a message has been delivered or not, with the internet-decentralized communication, one can tell when a message is delivered and incase it fails, he or she gets a failure message. As a result, the Internet-decentralized technology are growing in popularity and are becoming crucial approaches to communication helping to pass on information in a decent and quick manner (Garcia et al., 2009).
The emerging idea of internet-decentralized communication has greatly distributed information to a broader population. Among the outcomes of the technology is accurate information deliver to either a specific person or a specific population (Dahlberg, 2001). Because of how the technology has been embraced, the outcome has been reduction in the costs that were previously being incurred in communication. People can now get help remotely as opposed to the traditional approach which required one to be physically available to assist. The internet-decentralized communication has solved challenges making communication to be more efficient. Given that technology is changing from day to day, with this communication, one can easily accommodate the changes without affecting how he or she works.
