Comparative analysis of three architects and their works

Modernist architecture, also known as Modern architecture, refers to a variety of architectural trends that emerged in the twentieth century. Architects emerged in the middle of the century and rose to prominence after World War II. It included the use of reinforced concrete, steel, and glass structures as the foundation for modern technological know-how. Beaux-Arts and Neoclassical architecture, which were popular and prevalent in the nineteenth century, were discarded following the evolution of these modern developments. In the 1980s, some schools, Neo-modernism, and Postmodernism overpowered modern architecture. In this paper, I will be basing three architects and their activities as well as the issues they incur in modern architecture. I will base on Richard Neutra, Joseph Eichler, and Frank Lloyd.
Richard Neutra lived up to 16th April 1970 from 8th of April 1892. He was an architecture for America and Australia. He became famous among the modern architects after his experience he got in Southern California. In his architectural style, aimed at providing what his clients needed without considering how tiresome the project can be in contrast to what other architect did. Most of the places he traveled to, for example in WWI for Balkans, have buildings made up of his early drawings and watercolors. By the influence of Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and many others, Richard was able to make portrait sketches. Josefine, who is sister to Neutra, was able to develop more knowledge on drawing that had originated from Neutra.
Neutra’s legacy; an example of his building is the "Neutra Office Building which was rated to be the Historic Places in National Register. He owned designed and owned it occupying an area of 450 square meters found along the silver lake. He involved many people in the construction of this building. It includes a contractor who was Red Marsh and a project architect who was Dion Neutra-his son. The office was designed that, it is one-story building which within it, it has office space which is large and open, two rooms used for conference, two areas for reception and on the rear side of the construction, is the enclosed garden with two units of residential . Dion Neutra has keenly preserved the building. Most of the details used to design the building have remained undistorted. It includes, Aklo glass made of blue color, operable louvers, exposed ducting, acoustic tiles and strip lighting custom.
Joseph Eichler lived up to first of July 1974 from 25th June 1900. Was known to be the developer of real estate in America after the war. Most of the residential subdivisions in US and California in the tract housing in modern mid-century were developed by Joseph Eichler. He advocated in mobilizing the general public over the modern architecture. His works were much greater in both Los Angeles and bay area of San Francisco. He was viewed as the social architect for various people, especially to the middle-class Americans. He aimed at designing constructions within community centers and within the parks. Joseph’s design was fascinated by the construction he lived in with his family. The building was constructed by Frank Lloyd.
Eichler became much interested in the design and the style used by Wright. He looked forward to constructing in the same style whereby he designed the home and site plans by use of famous architects’ styles and designs. In 1949, he was able to come up with the first prototype which was the combined efforts of the hired architects, Robert Anshen, Wright and other architects . He also went ahead and constructed homes which were designed by different architects. His homes have come to be referred to as “California Modern” which is the modernist architecture. The building was designed and its walls made of the glasses, open floorplans and constructed in post-and-beam. It resembles the mode of styles used Mies and Frank Wright. The external part of Eichler’s home is depicted tidy geometric lines with Spartan facades, wood siding pattern which is 2-inch vertical, A-framed roofs which are low-sloping. "Bring the outside in" was the legacy of Eichler whereby he arrived at his aims through skylights. The outlook of the glass transoms with windows in the floor-to-ceiling state. Together with swimming pools, gardens, atriums, patios and rooms in the private outdoor looks to be more secure.
Eichler's home, also, it is made up of rectangular windows in designed in a frosted glass. In the interior part of the building, are the fascinating, innovative and unorthodox features. It involves constructions which have been exposed on post-and-beam. On the master room, there is a second bathroom, paneling; that is made up of closets, rooms with sliding doors, radiant heating and concrete slab, and are also made up of groove and tongue.
Frank Wright lived up to 9th of April 1959 from 8th of June 1867. Was an educator, writer interior designer and an architect in America. 532 of his designed structures were completed. He used to refer his works as the organic architecture because he designed in the way that is friendly and soothes the environment and the human beings. Styles which he termed as mature organic were designed in Taliesin West, Fallingwater, and Graycliff in the 1930s and 1920s. Graycliff was created in a high level of organic style involve of three constructions. Wright designed it to occupy a landscape of an area of 8.5 acres. He built it around Lake Erie and made it transparent. He designed it in the way that, through centile balconies and terraces enabled lake views. Falling water is a well-known private residence that was designed by Wrights. It was meant for the Edgar’s family.
