A Closer Look at the Picture of the Bird-Headed Man with Bison
A closer look at the picture of the Bird-Headed Man with Bison shows a drawing of a bird that resembles a human being, with a small bird under it. In the caves, an animal resembling a bull looking backward has also been depicted (Morgan Web). According to the drawing, a warthog is walking away. In the case of the picture in Cogul Lerida, Spain, paintings of women dominate the cave. The women seem to be running away from a gazelle (The Moors' Cave Of Cogul Web). One of the main similarities that stand out among the two images is that the paintings have been done on the caves and they are a representation of nature and culture. However, in as much the Cogul paintings may symbolize peace, Bird-Headed man and Bison is a representation of fear or migration of animals.
The Significance of the Images
The two images are a representation of art, and they are of great significance in that they portray the happenings in a given historical period in terms of culture and nature. In terms of nature, the images symbolise the movement of animals from one place to other. The birds are a representation of ritualistic happenings during that era. The women, on the other side, are seen as promoters of peace based on the images.

The Carving on the Venus of Willendorf
The carving on the Venus of Willendorf is a representation of the Paleolithic pre-historic arts and culture. The exaggerated female body parts as portrayed by the carving provide an inner meaning of reproduction health within that given society. Many people believe that those individuals that created the statue were hunters and gatherers and that the environment that they lived in was cold (Roach Web). The fatness of the woman during that time made her desirable among the hunters and gatherers because of her fertility and ability to bear children without challenges. Women with large breasts, pelvic areas, and legs were considered as fertile, and this is perfectly depicted by the Venus of Willendorf statue. The Paleolithic Venus of Willendorf lacks a face, and this shows that it is a representation of anonymous sex but a reproductive vessel (Roach Web). As nomads, hunters, and gatherers, this society was made to believe that the main role of women was to reproduce and a fertile woman was one that had a fat body.
