Nursing as a Profession
Nursing is a profession associated with assisting those in need, such as the sick, injured, dying, bereaved, and elderly. To become a nurse, one must have a caring heart in addition to a drive to succeed and earn. Every nurse must be dependable, thoughtful, dedicated, open-minded, and kind. I believe I am qualified for this sector because I have always wanted to make a positive difference in people's lives since I was a child.
Pursuing Nursing
Nursing came to me as a result of a gradual awareness that it is the finest vocation to pursue. Fortunately, I have had the chance of meeting and sharing with several healthcare professionals who have inspired me adequately. I have confidence that one day, I will equal their skills, capabilities, passion, and diligence. Growing up in an environment with poor and ailing people has also influenced my desire of becoming a nurse. All through my life, I have witnessed many people in absolute poverty, may it be children, disabled people, and the elderly who need help. Whenever I experience this, I constantly feel weak and wish I had the power to change their lives.
The Essential Qualities of a Nurse
I am honest, open to communications, and sympathetic, which are the important personalities that a nurse requires. Frequently, nurses act as the main channels of communication between the doctors and the patients. Nevertheless, they intermingle with the victims’ family members and the friends by being empathetic to their loved ones who are in pain and despair. Apparently, I have the power to impact and console the depressed people and the less fortunate. My actions, skills, and attitude can help another human being to heal and to feel loved, which is a thing that will make me feel satisfied throughout my life.
The Excitement of a Nursing Career
Nursing is an exciting career, which is diverse, ever-changing, and gives an opportunity for learning and discovering new things every day. It is a tough path, but at the end of the day, it is my passion, my desire, and I will feel grateful for helping other people in need. The walk of making my dream come true has begun, and that’s why I am undertaking my studies. What remains is to be given the authority to exercise the nursing service. That’s why I apply to become a registered nurse. It is my sincere hope that through your authorization, I will achieve my lifetime objectives.
