The love of the last tycoon

The people in the plane are from different classes with different morals. However, Cecilia Brady was in the plane with her father’s friend together with two filmmakers. The character of one f the filmmakers deploys the character in the society of committing suicide (Fitzgerald). When the plane took off on the return flight, Schwartz stays behind for committing suicide due to the fear of Cecilia’s father. However, before committing suicide, he had left behind a note warning Monroe about the character of Cecilia’s father. The symbol of class is demonstrated by the fear posed to the father of Cecilia.
Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald has used the aspect of natural calamities in the presentation of his work in the love of the last tycoon. When Cecilia visits the studio, an earthquake occurs that ruptured the water and caused flooding. During the process of the business of shooting a film, Cecilia and Stahr fall in love the same night. Stahr is a talented man who has the ability to manage almost everything in the studio. However, people have different talents that are used differently (Fitzgerald). The Beautiful and Damned
The novel focuses on the pre-World War I period and analyzes the theme of power and greed. The features expressed by the two main characters, Anthony and Gloria include haughtiness, vain, and self-obsession. The end of the story is the ruining of a society with money. The themes of love morality, money, and decadence have been explored in the novel. Francis has structured the novel on a platform of power and money (Kazin). However, the fight of money is facilitated by the fact where Anthony is not included in the will that his grandfather left for the distribution of money.
The essence of power is seen when Anthony starts to fight for the inheritance from the grandfather who never included him on the will. The dreams of Anthony becoming rich from the inheritance are shuttered (Fitzgerald). Same way, the world is in a state where money is the most precious thing that people work to earn. This side of paradise
The style of imagery has been used in ‘This Side of Paradise’. Important descriptions have been illustrated with similes that help in understanding his unique writing style. Several learning experiences by Amory have been focused on the novel. However, the major theme in the novel is disappointment or disillusionment (Fitzgerald). As humans grow and pas the stages of life, disappointment, and trials are inevitable. The young American men who were coming of age underwent so many errors after trying to work out tings but they fell on disappointments. As much s Francis uses imagery in ‘This Side of Paradise.’ The sociological changes in the early 20th century are discussed and illustrated by the young men who live on a trial-and-error way of getting into adulthood.
The structure of the novel is set on the young generation that is growing to learn and experience tings in life. However, the anxiety of wanting to taste everything in life makes them fall victims of failure due to the trial-and-error method of doing things. Lies and exaggerations are the key factors that are illustrated in the novel and how they lead the young generation to the wrong direction. The charismatic character of Amory directed m to chose a high school that he felt had the freedom he wanted and the activities practiced (Fitzgerald). However, the character of Amory made him not to have friends for the first weeks in St. Regis School due to his egotistical personality.
Socialism is another style that is illustrated by Francis as a way of making the young people learn on how to live in the society. The World War I was a factor that the two boys discussed, Burne Holiday and Amory. Rather than Amory being paten to learn and get directions from the people he feels to be intelligent and superior than the rest hence leading to lack of direction in his studies. The morals in the society are passed from one generation to another hence Amory was supposed to learn from those who are elder than him (Mangum).
The Lessons from Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald to Other Writers
Factors that the context and other writers experience
Writing is an engineering mode of using the English or any other language to pass a message or communicates to the people. The study of phonology consists of the learning of sound systems of a language and the attached phonetics to the target linguistic. The phonetics can either be included or excluded based on the scholarly objectives of the study. Sound systems and speech sounds are the essential components of that a language is made of and can be used to tell more about a certain language. A close concentration to the sounds and speech relationships help to understand the phonology of a language culture.
The pronunciation of words and other speech related sounds depends on the background of the culture and the sound effects used among the group members. The tongues of the people also determine the sounds produced when pronouncing words. Some of the populace is not able to twist the tongue and give out the required sounds; hence, they produce similar sounds to the specific words or voices. Speech and the history and theory of sound in a language change in related languages.
Teaching Writing
The difficulties experienced by other writers in studying the English language can be solved by using phonetics and phonologies. People with native accents can create many problems to listeners and demoralize the urge of listening to them when they talk because of the sounds and voices produced can be very difficult to understand. The native speakers have an accent that seems to be hiding the real sounds from coming out in a clear manner. A clear sound will enable the other writers of the language to get the words clear and interpret the meanings. Many of the native speakers lack competence in the use of the language as they assume to understand everything because they own the language. The social class is not even, and some of the people may fail to comprehend the information the native speakers are conveying in the communication statements and grammar they offer.
The basic method of learning the English language is through the people forgetting their mother tongues and developing the accents of the English native speakers. After losing the mother tongue accents, the people can practice to listen and speak like the native speakers. To have a correct and an authentic English language among the people requires thorough practice and much of listening to the fluent speakers. Apart from having too many regional dialects, the people learning the English language should only focus on the improvement on speaking and listening skills to help them come up with the right spellings and then be able to pronounce the words well.
The reproduction of better language sounds is through better writings of words and phrases according to the set international standards without considering the native accents of the people. When the sounds come out in a clear manner, the intended message is conveyed to the people without struggle hence making communication easy. A better writing is one that the native speakers are not able to notice or differentiate. Poor writing leads to failure of conveying the message and cuts the link for communication. Poor accents and bad English is perceived to be illiteracy and lack of good intelligence. The chance for expressing good impression to any congregation or multitude of people is making the first expression very clear and straight to the point using proper language. People with strong accents are often discriminated from the business world, but in some occasions, they have an advantage over the other writers of the language as they take advantage of the fellow clients and other business people that understand and use the same accent.
Considerations for English and Teaching Writing to Other Writers
Most of the best skills in learning a language are through practice and good use of the words and pronouncing them well as required. Accents that do not match with the set standards of the English language should be avoided and the best accent adopted by the language users. The elderly or adult writers can be a great embarrassment to the native speakers as the accent can be so confusing and misleading as the words pronounced can be conveying a wrong message. The limit to children and adult other writers can be the frustrations received from native speakers when they get wrong writings and lack the meaning of all the words they know. For example, writings of words with similar sounds pose a great challenge to the people. Such words are like cat and cut. Second language speakers produce a comparison of the way words and the native speakers should be distinguished and the difference cleared by adopting the right way of pronouncing the words.
