The Challenges of Freshman Year
The first semester of my freshman year at the college was quite challenging. I was living away from home for the first time since the time I joined college, meeting masses of individuals and as well ensuring that I was able to manage everything from my dinner strategies to my social life, despite the fact that am still undertaking tough courses with my new teachers. From the experience I have gained in the college, I certainly feel like college pushes you to not only grow up faster but also in a decent manner. My friends have offered great support to ensure that I am able to deal with the challenges that come my way. Moreover, I have definitely become to know more about myself in the college since the last semester.
Finding Independence in College
While there, you do not expect anyone to tell you what you are supposed to do or how to organize things. As a result, you have to ensure you choose by your own what things you are required to do and avoid what you are not. Being far from home and to my close relative has actually enabled me to strengthen my morals at the moment. It is because I am the one responsible for my own actions. For instance, I did not have to go to hunt for the material. It came to me. The coordinators presented chances for my academic accomplishment as well as relational improvement due to the provision of several assets within the college and also in the community per week. I am capable of forming a community all the way through my entire college knowledge as well as beyond the college.

My strength at this point in my development towards diversity is that I am able to hire varied strengths, expertise and know-how. From the freedom and support offered in college, I am able to attain results that are based on my own unique strengths, abilities and background.
Overcoming Challenges in Cultural Diversity
The challenge I encountered in my point of development toward diversity is that some social group from various cultures have got minimal chances which allows their voices to be heard. Nevertheless, the existence of diverse brain supremacy is not only enough but also it is not easy to come up with an exposed and inclusive atmosphere so that all the people feel endowed to donate. To ensure that I overcome challenges related to culture so that I become culturally diverse, I have to learn about myself through discovering my own historical origins, beliefs and morals. Secondly, I should interrelate with varied groups by organizing a research project which will ensure that I work with individuals with cultures which are different from mine. Finally, I will ensure that I engage myself in attending conferences that are diverse-oriented. In addition, acquire proper teaching on diversity-connected research as well as practice issues, study further on modern research, and run into probable coworkers at APA's Annual Convention, over and above conferences that are often dedicated especially on diversity matters.
