The Environmental Politics

The environment is an essential part of the biosphere because it serves as the foundation for all types of living. Due to its significance, environmental politics is a subject we study in civics under the heading of that subject, which includes academic studies that concentrate on these fundamental components. political theory research focuses on political views and connections between politics and the environment. the examination of traditional political parties' and social groups' environmental stances. My research questions will focus specifically on “What is the political perspectives of government about environmental politics as the government involvement in environmental affairs has some certain implications. I will also conduct a research on how the public views environmental politics I will value a more honest unbiased opinion and lastly I will conclude the research with the impacts of Environmental politics in the community?”

The data that I would emphasize on collecting would be on forms that contain questions which gauge the understanding of the subject environmental politics by the public. Getting to understand how the public often relates to issues about the environment and the politics behind it is quite vital to understanding the whole notion of environmental politics. The other queries I will conduct research on will involve collecting data that touches on the issues as well as what the government has invested in environmental politics and the impacts that environmental politics ha on the communities. This kind of data will enable me to obtain varied answers often with detailed replies or with more perspectives about the subject topics. To get a conclusive answer about my research I will need to also ensure that the sampled data will not be from a data samples with no variations. Data sampling on the basis of textual data is useful as it is easy to have a comparative analysis that involves reading other findings from other textual research documents. This will give more details and a better understanding of the data obtained it is better to have conclusive findings backed by extensive research than just conducting a single research.

The data that I would have collected I would use the method of tabulation to get a more detailed interpretation by generating graphical interpretations. This will provide further break down and meaning of what are the impact of environmental politics on the society and the influence government has on its advancement. These impacts might vary such that they could affect the economy in a negative way, for instance, if a government decides to take strict environmental conservation measures. This measure could directly disrupt the entire economy especially the reduction of polyethylene bags as they are economically cheaper to make but have contributed to environmental degradation. The government policies instituted usually are politically motivated and aimed at making political gains. The governments may take measures that make the public feel cared for in order to conserve the environment and improve their overall ratings as a government. These even though may not be a welcomed decision amongst the business community. At the end of all the research, the analysis of the findings and interpretations, I hope that I can gain an in-depth understanding of my subject matter am researching on.

B. Investigating the Topic Using Qualitative Interview Research (12 points)

My research questions will focus on specifically on questions such as “What is the political understanding based on societies views concerning environmental politics, my second question to conduct a research on will be how the public is involved with environmental politics and its policies, my last but not least research question will be about the relevance of Environmental politics to the communities and why the community as a whole needs to be taking serious interest in environmental politics?”

The type of individuals am likely to conduct interviews on will be students undertaking academic disciplines such as an environmental scientist, law students, political science students. These are individuals who are involved in academic disciplines that correlate heavily to politics and environmental science. Alternatively, more research can be conducted by asking either the experts who are familiar with the concepts of environmental politics. We often expect these lead figures on subjects related to environmental politics will diverge more details. This is true as these individuals have enough in-depth understanding of the subject matter. I believe that a comprehensive view of my research question by these experts answering the questions. Will be of much use when concluding the findings are used to give a detailed analysis of these data samples. I want to generate a complete detailed finding that will make it easy to refer to scholarly reviewed articles whenever anyone else wants to make a research on environmental politics can refer to for further understanding and reading. To get the best non-biased findings I will discard data from affected samples. By making sure that the qualitative analysis does factor in errors in findings and do an exclusion of errors from the final report.

The framework methods that I will ally will involve multi-disciplinary and research methods as this are easier and efficient methods of data processing. This if far better as the data obtained is critically analyzed for comprehensive findings and it is often from various sources combined. This method involves getting interrelationship between the feedbacks from varied disciplinary subjects concerning the data obtained and the analysis done. At same time conducting a background research to compares the data analyzed with already existing findings done on similar research is a somewhat comprehensive way of doing the data analysis. The best research practices involve compiling data from primary sources and sample them. Then later obtain more data from secondary sources which often is already existing research on a similar research topic or even research findings. These findings often have some useful aspects of what is being researched about and give more correlations to the research topic.

C. Investigating the Topic Using a Survey Questionnaire (12 points)

My research questions will focus on non-other issues but specifically on “What factors affect environmental politics and the extent to which they influence policy making, I will also try to establish a correlation between the factors that affect environmental politics and the relationship that with causes of these factors, lastly I will conduct a research aimed at coming u with an assortment of various ways of how to mitigate this factors affecting Environmental politics?”

I would be investigating the following aspects of environmental politics such as concepts that are used to understand environmental politics. These will include terminologies and scholarly expressions of various ideologies on environmental politics, factors that largely affect the perception of public about environmental politics what causes these skewed perceptions.

My objectives about this investigate entails the following;

(1) the differences between groups of people on what is environmental politics.

(2) establishing any form of relationships between the concepts, factors, or variables.

My survey questions were conducted on persons with an academic background in either environmental related disciplines or with both political and environmental related background. Such individuals often could offer a wealth of knowledge on my research questionnaires with satisfactory replies. I will have conclusive research that will give a more detailed overview of how much of this wealth of knowledge will make the answers issued more relevant to my research study topic. Being able to use the survey to get more feedback about environmental politics will enable me to provide more details. It should be noted however if surveys are not conducted well, it can produce fabricated data that has inaccurate facts. Thus it is always prudent to compare data from surveys with existing survey research finds on the topic of interest.

My questionnaires were based on questions such as the meaning of environmental politics, what are the impacts it has on regulating environmental pollutions and the government interest in environmental politics. These questions are to be administered to individuals like a scientist, political leaders and the students on environmental science majors. I believe this individuals or group(s) of people have varied views and responses giving a well-sampled research and varied answers. My statistical analysis will involve analysis of the data that would be collected as a result of the questions being answered on a varied scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most satisfactory. response. While1 being no clue about the questions asked on the questionnaires these responses will be used to gauge the general awareness about environmental politics. The responses on the questionnaires that are irrelevant will be omitted since sometimes those questionnaires have invalid data collected that should not be factored in the final data samples.

To me, the most appropriate methodology for conducting the investigations on environmental politics has to be on contextual data or documents collection. To me, this gives me real data to conduct an analysis based on different variable at play concerning environmental politics. The method of contextual data collection often can give a further in-depth analysis of the factors causing the variations on the data collected and why the results obtained are as analyzed. Making this to be my preferred method it is efficient and will ensure I get what am investigating concerning environmental politics.This will enable me to conduct research about my honors project without having to worry about using multiple methodologies in order to achieve my objects. Taking the methodology that minimizes chances of making errors is the best for using in data sampling especially when a research is done and varied sampled data is what is the base set for analysis and making conclusive findings.
