A color code is personality test tool that categorically put people into different personality types. Color coding assumes that individuals are born with a unique personality or trait that propels them to specific core motive in life (Hartman, 2016). It tends to explain the various intentions exhibited by different folks. Different color codes connote different traits and various unique personality types. This study thus endeavors to examine the individual needs, wants, limitations and strengths of persons possessing color code red and how I would use it towards accomplishing my dream of becoming a successful leader.


Strengths of color code red individuals


Color code red individuals have natural strengths as decisive, determined, focused, assertive, confident, and proactive among others (Hartman, 2016). Since my ambition is to a successful company manager, these attributes will mold me into a successful leader. For instance, being a successful company leader, one needs to make decisions among the uncertain business environment, the specific trait here will significantly guide me achieving this thus being an outstanding and successful leader. Since being a manager requires giving directions to staffs among some are of opposing voices, the trait of assertive and proactive will widely align things and issues thus becoming a successful leader. Other personality attributes associated with this color like being focused, determined and confident will no doubt propel me to being an outstanding leader. More critical is the motivation aspect. Being a successful leader requires motivating subjects, an attribute that a red color individual has thus more often become successful leaders.


Needs and wants of color code red individuals


Generally, reds (individuals of this color code) need or yearn to look technically right, preoccupied of always being right, demand for respect and don't like approval from other several individuals (Hartman, 2016). In my thirst for being a successful leader and possessing this color code, I would maximize on the positivity of these needs for the betterment of my subjects. For instance, to live up to the expectation of being technically superb, I would ensure that I attain all relevant technical training thus performing my duties satisfactorily thus being a successful leader. Reds always want to be right an attribute which will outwardly refrain me from evil acts and wrongful transactions thus being an honest and trusted leader hence success. Naturally, respect is two-way traffic, and since reds are maximally preoccupied with the motive of being respected, I would appreciate my subjects to earn it back and in the process is a successful leader and this will ensure loyalty and less confrontation and maximum output.


Utilizing the wants of color code red individuals


Interestingly, reds want to be productive in their endeavors, face challenging adventures, conceal insecurities and been seen to be in control (Hartman, 2016). I would deploy these wants to be a successful leader/manager. For instance, driven by the motive of productivity, I would work extra hard to ensure my subjects, and I realize satisfactory output and that targets are met. Through this, I would turn out to be a successful leader. Economic and technological uncertainties always encompass businesses, and as a leader, I would have to make decisions in a very challenging situation, and this would be remarkably aided by the attribute of reds of facing challenging circumstances. Secrecy is needed, and any insecurities must be concealed to edge competitors; otherwise, competitors might use it to pull the firm down, an attribute that is well provided for in reds.


Limitations of color code red individuals


Despite these advantageous traits of the reds, there exist some natural limitations that must be insightfully addressed to realize success in leadership (Hartman, 2016). Some of these are being arrogant, bossy, obsessive, always right, selfish, and demanding among others. To realize my dream of being a successful leader, I must be able to balance and be cognizant of these shortcomings in order to avoid derailing the numerous advantages of reds. Restoring them would be critical and would largely determine the depth of my success.
