One of the most inspiring speeches
I've recently heard or had the honor of studying was Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford Commencement Address. The speech was insightful and inspiring, and based on how I conceptualized it, I chose to develop the thesis of my essay along the path of passion. Therefore, this thesis will serve as the foundation for my essay: How can I live my life with passion? It is important to emphasize that one of the key components to achieving success is enthusiasm. It has been said that passion is an intense, nearly uncontrollable emotion focused on achieving a specific goal. The ability to direct our passion which is strong uncontrollable emotion towards the realization of our dreams should be considered as a step in the right direction towards the achievement of success in all aspects of life.
After proving a background for the essay
There is need to state that living my life with passion will require that I adopt certain actions and the effective implantation of such actions will, in turn, translate into my success in life. The first action I will take towards living a life with passion is developing a passionate living journal. The process of finding out what I am passionate about requires a high level of introspection, self-discovery, and self-awareness hence the need for me to begin the process by efficiently conducting an inventory of my life regarding present and past activities. This action also involves the process of developing a journal list with a well-presented organization of thoughts, also containing plans and their expected timing for implementation. One way to keep track of my passion is by carrying my passionate journal everywhere or by ensuring that my journal is visible at all times so as to keep me on track towards the process of accomplishing my goals.
To live a life of passion
I have to identify my passion, this will enable me to direct all my emotions towards the realization of my passion. The process is a build up on the previous action, realizing my passion will require that I effectively consider my passionate journal and determine which of the activities in the journal motivates me the most or which of those activities increases my level of satisfaction. Such question will be a step in the right direction towards to the discovery and attainment of my passion. To determine my passion I will have to separate what I do from what I care about, what I do may just be a necessary routine, however, what I care about is my passion, and therefore it requires my entire attention. I am aware of the fact that a successful life is a fulfilled life and a fulfilled life is the life centered on the accomplishment of a passion.
Now that my passion has been discovered
I now know what drives and motivate me the next action that is required is making room for my passion, I have to create enough daily time for my passion by giving it a priority in my time table. This step is required because; the more time and spend on my passion the more the possibility of attaining it. If I must live a life of passion, I will also I have to learn more about my area of interest as much as possible. I have to know all that there is to know as regarding my passion because the more I know, the more interested I am in developing my passion. Living a life of passion also requires that l live my dreams every day and work on the accomplishment of my goals daily. I have to let go of fears, discouragement, and always learn to see the positive side of every event or situation irrespective of how bad it may seem. Living a life of passion also entails that I learn new things and avoid obsolesce, learn as must as a can and following my already laid down plans.
Living a life of passion requires
that I turn down or place less emphasis on the aspects of my life that turn me down i.e. working to ensure the growth of my strengths and also coordinating activities directed to effectively reducing my weakness. Lastly living a life of passion requires that a stay on track at all time have a clear picture of the future and adherence to the steps needed to attain my future goals.
In conclusion, there is need to note
that passion is a drive required to achieve all-round success in life. However, to live a life of passion first, I must discover my passion by placing emphasis on what fulfills me rather than what I have to do as a daily routine. After the discovery of my passion, I must also ensure that I do all I can to stay motivated at all times so as to accomplish my desired goals as efficiently depicted by my passion.
