Whenever the name spider-man is mentioned people start having an idea of what you are going to talk about. Surprisingly, this is not the case here. This is a focus on Spider man, a video game created and released early September this year by Insomniac-----. However, most of the ideas used to create this game have been fetched directly from the movie with the same title.
Going past the awkwardness of Peter Parker, his confidence and good will to always help people in trouble is one of the things that make this game one of the most fun game to play. The game makes use of spider man’s acrobatic abilities and his sense of humor, working with his less interesting allies, in different stages to help him accomplish his mission of creating a peaceful and friendly neighborhood. The presence of bright and saturated colors, amazing camera work and very high quality video graphics effects, makes the game hyper-real and quite addicting to keep playing through the levels.
The game has spent a lot of time painting the comic hero’s, spider-man, human side of the story and also the characters that support him. This co-relation helps the major character seem to achieve more throughout the developmental levels of the game. Through the levels, you meet Mary Jane as a character who plays important investigative roles with her developed skill set. It is amazing what the game has designed the spider man to do. There are a variety of awesome tricks to go around the city and even gets better as you level up. Running up and along walls, swinging with web links, performing cool tricks in the air and running around taking bad guys down are some of the things that will make you get glued to the game.
The combat mode for this game is on its own level and it’s a guarantee that the gamers are going to love the skill set and also a stock of upgrades being provided. This is an advantage as the bad guys keep getting tougher as the game progresses. Doing well with the variety of tasks given, for example webbing
and going after drones through the city will guarantee you more reward tokens that come in handy when creating more upgrades to your character; the spider man. Basically, there are always more challenges beyond catching the bad guys, and catching them does not require killing them. Advancing through the levels enables the player to keep unlocking more interesting skills and whole new packages of combat modes plus token rewards. The need to acquire more of these skills helps the player keep advancing and with time, the complexity of learning how to play becomes easier to maneuver.
To add to your focus bar and special suit power, both advance as you score hits and skill set becomes even more fun. It is possible to Use focus to heal or, when it's full to the brim, unleash a one-hit finisher trick. The suit power recharges separately and can be used by clicking both joysticks down. There are an unlimited number of different suit powers that you unlock when you unlock suits, but you can combine and match them as you see fit. My best trick is the web blast where spider man jumps into the air and webs every bad guy in one big area.
