Have you ever visited Atlanta's High Museum of Art?
If you have never been, I believe it is past due for you to schedule a visit to the museum. The High Museum is a multi-exhibition collaboration that was started in 2009 in New York City in partnership with the Museum of Modern Art. The museum's main curatorial goal is to serve as a singular platform for showcasing some of the best practices currently in use. The museum has served as a venue for presenting diverse techniques currently in use and has shed light on the Museum of tomorrow since the year 2009. The Museum has grown towards a digital revolution where it includes the future thinking on audiences, transformations, leadership and participation.

high museum acts as the hub of knowledge that provides and shares information to the audience especially the students with an opportunity to network within the international peers. My latest visit to the museum was an epic one since I was able to learn that the Museum consists of various Modern designs of art from various artists. The project of building the museum was aiming at extending the ties between various institutions through the educational development programs, professional changes and the publications of various educational benefits. The Museum consists of various masterpieces of arts some of which were collected from the Modern arts. During the visit I was able to observe various artworks from renowned artists. In this study, I will review two of the permanent exhibitions that I observed during my visit to the museum that is the Para III art work by Morris Louis and the Physic Garden by Molly Hatch.
Para III
Para III is an art work that was shaped by Morris Louis is an aim to present the American art through his mature and exceptional work. At the high Museum, Morris work is presented to the audience through a clear description of the artwork from the artist name, his nationality, the title of the art work and the date of creating the artwork. Morris Louis was an American born in the year 1912 and died in 1962 (Now & Morris 2006, 12). He created the medium sized Para III artwork using the Acrylic on canvas. From the museum, the artwork is presented on 100 ¼*136 ¼ inch frame. The presentation of the artwork to the audience effectively communicates the idea of the organizers since the artwork shows the innovative manner that Louis worked by staining some canvas with the use of acrylic pigments, washes of colors so as to create the unified composition. Though Louis worked in an isolation from his fellow artists, his work is grouped together in the museum with that of the color field painters of the early 1960. The work creates some abstract expressionism and this assists the audience to learn about the reality of pure visuals that were obtained by Louis. The presentation of the artwork by Louis with that of other color field painters helps the audience to understand about the intended idea of the organizers.
Physic Gardens
The other artwork I observed during the visit is the physic Garden that was created by Molly Hatch. The artwork is presented to the audience as being a two-story and high drawing that is hand painted using some pale paintings. The art is installed at the Margareta Taylor Lobby in the High Museum. It consists of 456 dinner plates and also features an original design that is inspired by two and that is The Emory Cocke collection of the English Ceramics and the Chelsea Factory plates from the High Frances (Shapiro & Michael 1990, 87). I found the artwork as being communicative to the audience since it effectively communicates the idea of the organizer because it acts as a unique decorative platform for future artists. The high museum attained the Physic Garden due to its decorative arts and because of the design of the collection. All this assists in motivating the upcoming artists that there is the possibility of re-installing their future from other incarnations or from any location of the world. The installation of the artwork using 20 feet high and 17 feet wide creates the base of other source materials that originate from the metropolitan Museum of Art and also from the Museum of fine art in Boston. The Hatch assists the audience in understanding the line of the organizer due to the use of the accessories, clothing and also the home décor vendor Anthropology. In the high Museum, the Chelsea source plates are placed on a high and permanent collection which is a part of the renowned Cocke Collection. It is one of the main comprehensive collection of the English ceramics that is in the American Museum of art.
Summing up
I wish to say that the visit to the High Museum is one educating one since it has assisted me to learning about the Para III and the Physic Garden art work. I have also been able to learn that the Museum can always act as a unique platform that showcases some of the best practices today to the audience through the material from different artists.
