The task and result orientation, as well as the closed nature of several market economies, ensure the market economy does not form barriers likely to limit the knowledge sharing but instead generating strict frameworks that allow the existence of stipulated manners of knowledge sharing. Technology is essential in knowledge sharing since technological advancement has enabled faster dissemination of information. Moreover, appropriate implementation of technology in an organization ensures there is a more rapid access to information by both the members of a given group as well as others (Mason, 2017).
