The team's performance is not encouraging. The majority of the time, attendance is inversely related to performance. The initial objective is to enhance the coaching staff in order to energize the group and improve performance. Second, incentives and awards will encourage the team to work hard. The game will be promoted with full-page ads printed on the t-shirts and broadcast on local radio and newspapers.
Techniques implemented to boost attendance. As the sports director, I will boost the attendance by promoting the event. Game days and time will be announced in the school's bulletin and also will ask the local radio stations to promote the event. It will help reach out to more people in the school, and the community. also will make the events social media friendly.
Engaging Student leaders
The school captain will be given a chance to search for core students who are interested in supporting the teams and make them student leaders. Will meet with student leaders and encourage them to rally students to support the basketball team.
Encourage the coaching staff to improve the team's performance
It is true that everyone wants to be allied with the winning side. The performance of the school team has been poor with the only promising performance coming from the boy's team. Some rewards and incentives will be provided to the coaching team and the players if the team performance will be improved.
Improving Convenience
The attendance of the event will be made easy for fans. The parking space capacity will be increased, and the way of admission will be changed to be electronic. Fans can acquire their tickets online hence avoiding the long lines. More so, the customer service will be improved to be friendly to the fans.
