An association is a community of individuals who devise different methods for achieving the goals that have been developed. Different organizations are made up of various individuals with varying specializations in various departments. For an organization to be competitive, it must have individuals who are committed to meeting the targets that have been established. The Supreme Pacific Company is the name of the company under which I operate. Supreme Pacific is located in the heart of town, where customers can purchase the company's goods. Most organizations have the aim of making a profit out of all the products and services they offer to their consumers. With profit they earn, most organizations get the opportunity to increase the rate of production of goods and services they offer to the customers. Supreme Pacific is a company that builds boats and fishing vessels for young fishermen and other organizations that transport their products over the sea. Supreme Pacific builds boats that are of different shapes, sizes and quality that fits the order of the customers.

One type of fishing vessels that Supreme Pacific creates is known as the Seiners. These type of boats are created in a way that they can be able to use seine fishing nets, especially in the oceanic areas. Cargo carriers are other types of boats that Supreme Pacific builds in order to facilitate the transportation of cargos with different products. Supreme Pacific gains profit after selling these boats and fishing vessels to other companies and even the fishermen near the seas. Other than fishing products, Supreme Pacific offers various services to the customers within the society that it is based in. it offers various passenger carriers that facilitate the services of transporting people from different regions at affordable cost.

Organizational Structure

Every organization must have an organizational structure since the people working within the organization are of different working levels. Supreme Pacific has different departments that are working towards the main objective set by the organization. In the Supreme Pacific, the organization structure starts with the board of directors, manager, the human resource person, the engineers, accountants, the procurement board and lastly the ordinary employers. The board of directors in Supreme pacific includes the people who come up with the decision on how the organization should be run in order to achieve their set standards. The board of directors in this organization includes ten people with at least four women in order to maintain the gender balance.

The manager falls under the board of directors. He is in charge of supervising how the organization carries out its production of the fishing vessels ordered. He is in charge of signing all the documents that need to authorize the release of the products to be sold. The HR is currently under the manager. His role is to employ qualified people and ensure that the other employees are working as required of them. The accountants and the procurement board then fall under the human resource (HR). The engineers are also included in the organization structure since they are the most needed people in the organization. The role of the engineers is to come up with structures of the fishing vessels to be built, supervise the vessels as they are being built and to ensure that the engines will not fail once the vessels are sold to the end users.

The accountants are the people who are in charge of maintaining the financial state of the organization by ensuring that other companies make payment on time and that the financial statements are ready as required by the organization. The procurement department includes people whose work is to purchase the materials needed by boat builders and supply them as well. The ordinary employees are the people at the lower part of the organization structure. These ordinary employees include the boat builders, security staff, and cleaners. Their roles vary depending on their qualifications.

Organization Chart

Organizational charts help an organization to enable the employees to understand how their work fit in the organization scheme. Supreme Pacific has its own unique organizational chart that enables me to fit in the organization structure of the company. As an employee of Supreme Pacific, I have fit in the organizational structure as an accountant. As an accountant I am able to understand the work responsibilities assigned, I am able to come up with improved lines of communication that enables me to have a good reporting relationship with others. The organizational chart that Supreme Pacific employs in its working processes helps the organization to create a good visual employee directory and be able to present other types of information needed within the organization.

Supreme Pacific successfully utilizes the structure that it has and it aims at improving the strategies that are set by the board of the organization thus using the appropriate structure. Each department within the Supreme Pacific has its own strategy of handling work as part of the general working strategy of the organization. The structure of the Supreme Pacific is appropriate enough to facilitate all the working strategies of the company.
