The drive of this memo is to reflect thoughtfully on what I have and have not accomplished and learned in this course, and how I assess my performance in this course.

Taking this course is interesting to me. During the process I have been learning in this course, I have learned many writings, genres, and my writing habits.
Discussion:
From the beginning to the end of this class, I have learned how to write a letter of introduction, a memo on ethics, an informative report, a proposal, a process of description, a resume and a cover letter, and completion report final. With the letter of introduction, I have to provide as much as possible information about myself and who I am, how my academic learning looks like, and my goal for an academic career. With the memo on ethics, I have to deal with the ethical issue in my field and choose the critical point in my major that affect me in the company I work in. This paper made me think much on how to instruct the employees to follow ethical standards of conduct to avoid incarceration as per the laws of the land. With the informative report, I had an exciting experience. I had not interviewed a person before, but I got an opportunity when this paper came to me. I interviewed my professor face-to-face and wrote a report about my professor based on the interview. With the process of description and set of instruction, I can learn how to create software and how I can use it. With cover letter and resume. I can prepare my application form with these papers. I can express my education, my work experience and my honor in the resume. I can provide how good I am in a cover letter to contribute to the company I will work for in the future.
The proposal is the completed work I am most satisfied with because we have to work in groups to finish it. The proposal is a vast topic that challenges me to choose a specific topic that is effective in my life. When I do this assignment, I have to think and do a lot of research on how to solve this topic in compelling ways. Moreover, I can learn how to work in a group, which is essential for me when I work for a company. Also, I can get experience on how to allocate the task for each member of the group. This assignment needs interaction between members to get the work done within the deadline.
I have to write more memos and proposal to master these genres. I have to practice more on writing a cover letter to provide an impressive point about me before my employers.
Recommendation:
I advise students taking this course at Texas State University that the course is essential for their academic success.
