Venezuela Dictatorship

On the northern coast of South America is a nation called Venezuela. Mr. Maduro is the president of Venezuela, and he presides over it under a federal republican system as its main form of government. However, Mr. Maduro primarily favors a shift from the national Republican party to an open dictatorship, which has caused him to lose the support of other countries and lead to his defection (Anatoliiy, 2016).
Tareck El Aissami, Venezuela's vice president, is also the head of the anti-coup command, which is organized on a national level. The United States National Treasury is accusing Mr. Tareck El Aissami of being blacklisted for narcotics trafficking, which Mr. Tareck rejects. Hence not an impressive image coming from the heads of a country facing accusations from one of the most powerful countries(Brownfield, 2007).

Mr. Maduro, the head of Venezuela has made it hard for the country to have freedom and democracy. In terms of opposition parties where Venezuela headed by a single party with one current leader. The process of developing and coming up with a political party which would be accepted by the government is very hard making it almost impossible for people to try and create and join a party which opposes the current politics(Phil, 2003).

Te government faced several oppositions the leaders of this coup are either dead or facing a jail term for example General Baduel detained army officers including Leopoldo Lopez who was the leader the Popular Will opposition party. Another example is Chavez who died of cancer and also had a quasi-religious cult (Brownfield, 2007).

Some nations are turning their backs on Venezuela, for example, some Republicans want the United states to stop buying oil so that it may cause disruption in the country (Venezuela) economic balance.
