Utopian societies are threats to the attainment of social progress. The government collects a significant amount of taxes from wealthy individuals to support the poor and the middle class.  No, there poor are not getting any form of help from the wealthy or political class. Passing of laws and regulations that only favor the rich ensure that the poor continue to languish in poverty and reduced opportunities for social progress (THE WHY 24).
