The majority of people in Ethiopia's Kingdom were Christians. Anyone who threatened the new king's reign in the future was imprisoned in Goshen, which was up in the mountains and well-guarded, after the new king had been successfully installed on the throne. Any aspirant to the throne could balance their ambitions thanks to this method. For more than 200 years, the future princesses who might be eligible for the succession were detained at the prison, where many of them led quiet religious lives. This duration can be described as politically stable as their rule remained unopposed, but the people they rule over resented them because they were ill-treated.
Question 2
The people of North Africa were of Semitic origin although they were Berbers and not Muslims. The Arabs were brought together by Islam, and this led them to get the common purpose of spreading Islam to others. This made them move about, and as a result, they ended up exerting political control which in turn allowed them economic benefits like controlling trade or having access to land with vast resources.
Settler colonialism is a type of colonialism where a colonizing authority oversees the immigration of foreigners into a particular area after which their authority is accepted. One of the characteristics is that the settlers are likely to be viewed as racially superior in the eyes of the administration and one of the key results is that they are mainly motivated by the acquisition of land.
The search of land is a common purpose for both the Arabization of North Africa and the settler colonialism of The Americas. The key difference is that settler colonization intends to destroy the culture of the people so that they can replace it with a less barbaric one while Arabization allowed people to practice their beliefs as long as they paid poll taxes.
