The Successful Interview


The interview carried out was successful as it led to comprehensive responses from the interviewee. The questions were answered comprehensively as the interviewee went about explaining their views on different subjects clearly, the adolescent also understood all questions as the answers provided were relevant to the questions asked. From the interview it is evident that the adolescent in question exhibited signs of development in physical development when asked about the changes he observed at his current age, he stated that he saw girls differently than before when they passed by their aura triggered him into staring at them which was not evident before.


Identity Issues


Another aspect of development noticed was identity issues, the interviewee was categorically clear about is interest in music production when asked about his future endeavors. In addition, when asked about his school experience he is not quite conversant with math but aspires to pursue music production, he also indicated that he does not see his parents resonating well with the idea. Nevertheless, when asked about personal developments he stated he collided in opinion with his parent’s occasionally which he attributes to the mixed emotions and mood swings. The above answers reveal that the interviewee is still discovering themselves the aspirations he might have right now may not be those he will end up with (Steinberg).


Development on Perspective of Family


In addition to the above developments, the interviewee is also evidently undergoing developments on his perspective of the family. He has learned the importance of family and values it the most. When asked about what is the most important thing to him he says it is family because his parents have worked hard for their well-being and everything he does is motivated by the well-being of the family. In addition, when asked on what influenced him the most, he states that his parents have influenced him to be the best he can be by offering guidance whenever he needed it and they have always had his best interest at heart. From the illustrations, it is evident the interviewee values and upholds the essence of the family (Steinberg).


Opportunity for Further Questions


Given an opportunity to pursue questions based on the above areas of development, questions asked will include: how has the current interest in girls affected him? How does he deal with disappointment or loss? What influence do his friends have towards him? These questions will help the interviewer gauge deeper developments surrounding adolescents in the above areas of development.
