Today technology touches on all aspects of human life. Physical exercises have incorporated technology into different tasks and activities. With it, people can track their training actions and be able to receive accurate feedback on progress made. In the study titled “Technology and physical activity motivation,” scholars tried to ascertain if wearing devices that track training had any effect on the motivation to exercise. Using a population of 42 participants, the study ultimately suggested that activity tracking devices help in behavior change and increase the motivation towards exercising (Bice, Ball " McClaran 300). In the end, individuals are inspired to engage in physical activities leading to a healthy population.


In the past, many have overlooked the role that technology plays in physical exercise. Hence, individuals usually go to train without tracking the gains that they make. In the end, their endeavors are just clueless actions that lack objectivity. Today, however, the trend is changing, and people are adopting technology rapidly.  People are buying the tracking devices like never before.  There also exists a smartphone application that one can download for free or at some price. These applications allow for real-time tracking as one trains. In the near future, almost every individual interested in physical activities will acquire these devices.


Motivation is crucial when it comes to exercises. Knowing that technology increase motivation inspires me to adopt the concept for my training activities. I will use the tracking devices for my training. Apart from this, I will also encourage my clients to embrace the ideology. The importance of this is that from time to time, people are tempted to lazy about and skip training. Motivation is crucial and ought to be sort in all ways possible. Apart from that, people will improve their training and exercising since technology enables people to know the gains they have made over the periods.


What Type of Physical Activity Is Best?


In the article titled, “What type of physical activity is best,” the article discusses the best exercises that are good for the body. It begins by encouraging individuals to undertake aerobic activities. These activities include dancing, cycling, running, and brisk walking. However, when one is diagnosed with high cholesterol or high blood pressure, it is advisable to moderate the aerobic activities ("Stretching and Flexibility Exercises" 1). Instead, one can try out simple exercises, such as strengthening and stretching.  The article emphasizes consulting a health practitioner on matters relating to physical exercises. Doctors help individuals settle on the most appropriate exercises that suit their health


In the past individuals have believed that physical exercises that strain the body are the best work out activities for those having complications. However, the article outlines that this assumption is not entirely true. The author advice people to seek advice from doctors before adopting any training activities.  Admittedly, training without professional advice could lead to more harm and fail to deliver the desired outcomes. Therefore, once one detects complication, the entire approach to physical exercises must change altogether.


With this new knowledge, I am aspiring to consult a health professional on the right techniques of training that will suit my needs. I also intend to encourage clients to seek regular checkups and to inquire about the activities that suit their profile. All these initiatives reduce the probability of people developing a complication or failing to respond to exercises.
