Children do frequently commit crimes that are merely fatal or fatal in nature. They repeatedly carry out those acts because they receive punishments that are disproportionately less severe than the crimes they perform. Therefore, these particular perpetrators ought to be held accountable for their actions in the same manner as any other adult.
For kids, particularly those who feel isolated in today's society, crime has become the norm. They either perpetrate these crimes alone or in groups, the latter of which has a greater impact because of peer pressure. There are several crimes like theft that these individuals often commit yet some of them escape unpunished, are left freely with the excuse of being young or receive little punishments. Moreover, some of these so called children have gone to an extent of possessing ammunitions and other dangerous weapons which they use while committing crimes, hence creating much tension to the people in the community. When such people are caught and found guilty they should face the law fully as a criminal and not considering whether he or she is a child or an adult. The main reason for doing this is that, when these criminals face the same punishment as adults, of which is intense, they will restrain from those evil actions. On the other side, when they are punished basing on being juvenile, the punishment may be lighter and these children will later embark to their negative actions. Therefore, these juvenile offenders should face the same punishment just as adults because tolerating a criminal basing on their age would lead to increased violence and also a rise in the number of adult criminals given that children are growing. This would finally lead to development of a rotten society.
Aims and objectives
Find out how crime is affecting the society.
Find out the type of punishment induced to juvenile and adult offenders.
Ensure children maintain discipline in the society.
Explain the crime laws to the society in general.
Background
I am doing research because this is a matter that is diversely affecting our current generation. Moreover, most of those affected are street children, who I feel need to rehabilitate and change their ways so that they fit in the society. This research would then help our children to understand the benefits of being humane and leave crime aside.
