Therefore, it would be difficult to persuade the owner to adopt a different perspective especially given the response from the One Million Customers lobby group. The desired outcome for retracting the specific pieces of adverts is to calm matters down by creating a signal to the boss that the team regrets the perceived mishap and is ready to adopt his views concerning the appropriateness of the content. Some of the consequences for the action include demotivating Marcus by creating a perception that he did unacceptable work, as well as a possible fury, which the company may face from the gay and lesbian communities who will feel dishonored.
