Having considered the above information, I hereby wish to enroll for an undergraduate course in Civil Engineering with the aim of becoming a Civil Engineer with a special interest in Information Technology. Personal research has revealed to me the fruitful relationship between Civil Engineering and Informational Technology globally. Alternatively, I would as well consider Mechanical Engineering and other related courses.
Key Academic Qualifications and Interests
I recount that I have a special ability in Mathematics and interest in arithmetic. My ability shall be my way forward in hard circumstances of the course. I'm also interested in the statistical dimension of Physics as well as being passionate in the Organic branch of Chemistry. After considering the fact that the pillars of Civil Engineering are Physics, Chemistry, and Math; I hold good academic qualifications in the subjects. Again, my enthusiasm for Information Technology is demonstrated by valuing the programming of electronics, particularly my phone and its apps. Merging software and Civil Engineering shall revolutionize the field. My key subject areas give me the courage to pursue Mechanical Engineering as well.
Majoring in Categories of Civil Engineering
I would aspire to major in the following categories once enrolled in Civil Engineering undergraduate course: Structural design, Materials Engineering, and Solid Mechanics. Merging the areas with Information Technology may be viewed in different perspectives, but the outcome and design can integrate perfectly. I consider environmental safety and affordability as my key aims in Civil Engineering course. Mechanical Engineering also entails the three study areas as a field of Engineering having had relationships with Civil Engineering projects of design and developing of robust structures. The former also provides the latter with most materials to be used. I consider both fields of engineering equally important for my career not forgetting the relevance of Information technology to Mechanical Engineering. For instance, with the introduction of IT, advanced mechanical equipment is produced. It will also enable me to understand the technological advancements applied to engineering.
Passion for Civil and Mechanical Engineering
Lastly, I feel sure that my aptitudes fit in Civil Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering. I recall my passion as I grew up, I would play Lego and I would endeavor to dig into the better understanding of structures such as buildings and their outlines as well as design. On the other hand, Burj Khalifa motivates me, and I envision of developing structures formed like air crafts or steam vessel. When I think about the plan of lifts, elevators, and different facilities that can be utilized as a part of such structures, Mechanical Engineering becomes part of my daily thoughts.
