Claude Debussy, a prominent French composer who was one of the most protuberant figure that was involved in the late 19th and 20th century impressionist music and Gustav Mahler who was an Austrian romantic composer and served as a link amid the modernism of the earlier 19th and 20th century of Austro- German belief. This work therefore is to find out the elements embedded in the work of the composers and to find out the one which is more interesting in pertaining to how the job was done by either of the two composers. Additionaly, it will describe the two color paintings by the different artists that I believe to represent the quote by Kandinsky on the subject of color in art.
When I listened the two types of work by the two composers, Mahler and Debussy, I preferred the Debussy_x0092_s work as compared to Mahler_x0092_s type of work. I think through the work of Debussy Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune in being a peaceful sound of piece as compared to Mahler. Moreover, in honor to this type of song I desire a calming composition, nonchalantly fondling resonances of the violins in the work of Debussy. Additionally, it inclines to be the dainty of the ears.
In addition, the one element that I makes Debussy_x0092_s piece of music to be interesting is because of its soothing sound of tune that is played from high to low amid the last minutes of the song. This is very exceptional since most of the songs that I have listen to tend to fade out within the last twenty seconds. Additionally, the manner in which the song seizures the comforting mood is what enthuses me to creativeness.
