A context is a word or phrase said before or after a given word in a passage that affects the meaning of the preceding word in most situations. For example, the proposal made sense in the light of the situation at hand. Abstraction is the process of contemplating something with its basic characteristics after certain unwanted characteristics have been removed. For example, we can feel weak as a result of heat loss from our bodies. Representations are a portion of a whole that is chosen to participate on behalf of the entire team when the whole team is unable to participate. For example, in the school choir, there must be a representation of both genders. This means both boys and girls must be included in the school choir team.
Art works like dance are dramatized in a manner in which on watching the dance, even without music, a message is passed to the audience. Secondly, portraits can also be used to communicate. Just a glance at portraits will tell the mood and the context in which the portrait was made.
An analysis of virtual art
A keen analysis is done on the virtual art which may include robots, sculptures. Photographs or visualization casks. The observed analysis is then recorded and conclusion made concerning the communication is then passed on to analysis. This analysis does not, however, need experts as for photographs anyone can read and understand the message on it.
Photographers have different and varied interests, each of the will always take the photograph to suit what they like most. This aspect is significant in the identification of photographs and places. Those who love heights will always ensure he takes the photographs of tall mountains and buildings while the others will do what they love too. The disadvantage is that if any photographers have same interests then other places will remain unexploited forever while others will be exploited the most.
Getting photographs from trusted sources which have been ranked best by most people means a valid understanding of the outside world. If one uses trusted photographs then the understanding of the world is real and truthful.
Musical commentary and cultural influences
A commentary is a detailed descriptive expression of opinions about a song while listening to music only involves the ear and brain. The listener listens but doesn’t write their ideas about the song nor the lyrics.
African and Asian music has been excluded because most of their contemporary music is as a result of a blend with some of the western popular music. The resultant song is always a hybrid of two cultures and thus excluded in the textbook. Popular music has occupied a greater position in the musical landscape of contemporary Africa and Asia yet an academic study of popular music is still in its infancy stage in Africa and Asia.
The complexity of music compared to art
Music is somehow complex compared to art, for this case, art becomes simple and flexible and subject to change as opposed to music which is complex and takes longer to create one. Contemporary culture is facing competition from popular culture, making it less popular in the markets. Items of the contemporary culture mainly appeal to the broad spectrum of the public and, therefore, may be received with lots of critics, making it unpopular.
Contextualization and adaptation in the arts
Contextualization is to analyze a word in terms of the words surrounding it. In the film private Romeo is a contextualization because the words in the original shake spears book have been put in mind while creating the characters if the film while adaptation is acting a movie or drama whose storyline and synopsis is from a book initially written, in this case, Shakespeare wrote the book then, later on, acted an adapted version of the book and called it Romeo and Juliet ballet.
The American music reflects the whole population’s multi-ethnicity via a diverse array of styles which include a mixture of music from West African, Irish, Scottish and European itself. Their music has the syncopation and asymmetrical rhythms with long but irregular melodies which reflect the wide geography of the states.
Humanism and its impact on philosophy
Humanism is a Renaissance cultural movement that turned away from medieval Scholasticism and developed their interest in the New Greek and Roman thought or faith. Humanism called for a change in philosophy and uncovered older texts that made the older philosophies sophisticated. Humanist Ramus also criticized the shortcomings of contemporary teaching and advocated for reforms of the arts curriculum. He sold his books to the Protestant universities, and eventually, the system was adopted. They changed the minds of the intellectuals by supporting Christianity.
The Renaissance period and its artistic influence
The Renaissance period spans between 1490 and 1527 and represented the accepted apogee of Renaissance art. It’s during this time that the ideas of classical humanism were implemented fully in both painting and sculpture. With the changing cultures as a result of technology, going back to contemporary or modern art is hectic as the ancient arts we just simply easy to understand and on high demand, currently, people and new ideas and new things which are not easy to create.
Anyone trying to be "NEW" is at risk of losing the cultural background. The do's and don'ts of his community at home tend to fade, and what he/she will pass to their children will be a very different culture. The former culture will fade away.
Modernists and their rejection of tradition
Mankind started doubting the existence of God and believed in his own findings and new experiences. Arnold Schoenberg believed that by rejecting his tradition, the hierarchical sites of music organization led to the serial music by the post-war period after coming up with the 12-note rows. Abstract artist, Edward Munch began the assumption that color and shape formed the essential characteristic of art. Other modernists and architects believed that technology rendered the ancient styles of building and construction obsolete.
The person manipulated in this case is represented in the movie; he does not take part in acting the movie himself. The person is manipulated as a result of cultural differences. The role of morality in creating art includes long rations of the actors dating o vast ages ago.
Both art and music are valuable for child growth in that they help in the language development of the baby, aid in the visual learning of the kid, give the kid cultural awareness and also motor skills in small children. Thus, they need to be made more and more. Despite the fact that music and art are of no biological use to humans, they are the best and most honest expression of mankind. Musicians have original thoughts and compositions about themselves; thus, with the kind of music they have, they express themselves truly. Music and art have a value and need to be made since they are a form of entertainment to the listeners.
Acquiring cultural values through literature
With the technological society, children acquire the cultural values through cultural artifacts, media, and literature available on websites, schools, and libraries. The same knowledge of cultural values is acquired through myths and discourse spun around the notion of childhood. However, this means is facing competition from the internet literature. With the current interdisciplinary focus of childhood studies as a paradigm of social theory, children are able to learn the cultural values in their societies.
