It is possible through the use of their images by the advertisers to make advertisement hence becoming a way of making money. Some people use these images and their names on brands, t-shirts, and posters. The use of the deceased celebrities such as Michael Jackson and John Lennon images has led to an increase in earnings from the stage shows and the album sales (Katrina). The use of dead celebrities’ names and pictures has to get used as a way of generating money. The main topic of the essay is how celebrities earn when still dead. For example, Michael Jackson makes 275 million dollars, and he died in 2009 according to Forbes. Albums are produced in his name and some featuring people who are alive. He remains to be earning the highest among the dead celebrities. The primary purpose of the easy is showing how technology has shaped the celebrity death. The main idea of the essay the collection of dead people to use the trick in computers and put them in films, campaigns and as part of the business. The dead celebrities are not reducing. Instead, they are reviving and reissued. With the help of a computer, anyone can put his or herself together with a dead celebrity and share the image or the video across the globe. Some people have used these form of business to earn money while others suggest that it is the manipulation of the dead (D'Rozario 395).

There are different rhetorical modes used in the essay. These are a description of the language used in the piece, do celebrities die? The primary rhetorical style used in the section is the description. Katrina presents the events of using the dead stars and giving their examples of how they earn. The recreation of the story offers a picture of what is described. For instance, she explains how George Lucas collects the dead people with the aim of using computer tricks to align them in a film. She also uses the style to demonstrate how Dorchester hotels did an advertisement showing two living celebrities dining with the other three stars. Dirt Devil in 1997 liberated an ad showing a dead idol, Fred Astaire, dancing with a vacuum cleaner. She later explains how dead celebrities have become a threat to the living ones, making them not to value their work. It is because the dead performers are earning a significant amount of money (Huang).

The other types of rhetorical modes used in the study include narration, exposition, and argumentation (McLeod). Katrina used storytelling to narrate how the events followed. Narration mode in the essay uses descriptive writing tools. The method has helped her put the information and details in a logical order. It is evident in that she provided the year when the event occurred. For example; she tells how Dirt Devil released an advertisement in 1997 and how the stock photo agency Corbis did a roster of dead personalities. She uses exposition to present the ideas and giving relevant pieces of evidence. The mode is used in narrative context to provide some background details concerning the topic. Katrina tells the readers how George Lucas has been collecting dead bodies with the aim of using computer technology to put them into a movie. They can also appear alongside the living celebrities. George Lucas has the hobby of connecting the living and the dead which is fashionable. He wants to use the technology to revive the death of the celebrities. Argumentation mode is evident in the essay to prove the ideas presented are varied and convincing to the reader. She has used humor to pass the information. For example; do celebrities die anymore? It shows that death is not the end of making money, one can make earn even when they are six feet down (Katrina).

Mortality is not the end of making money. One can still get used for advertisements, businesses, and campaigns while yet dead through the use of technology and generate a lot of cash. I used research as a way of creating ideas. How can one make income using the technology? Bob Marley family is signing a deal to put his image on a brand. The rights associated with the use of pictures of dead people. I recall printing t-shirts and selling them on the streets. Have also made a card with the Santa Christmas and Michael Jackson sitting in a room and sent it to my friend. About b, one can print t-shirts using the images and names of the dead celebrities and sell them to the public. I can use the idea in “c” to publish materials for campaigns, advertisements and to create awareness.
